What do you like best about Momentus Technologies?

I like how organized Momentus Technologies makes my day-to-day feel. The system is easy to use, and I love creating my 'View' pages. Since I work in multiple buildings with a plethora of rooms, it helps keep event details in order. The 'View' feature is especially helpful as it allows me to download only the most necessary information for specific duties, making it easier to manage assignments across our big team. What do you dislike about Momentus Technologies?

I would like to be able to edit text and highlights. When files are uploaded, they sometimes have preexisting highlights. I would like the option to remove those highlights or change the color of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Momentus Technologies?

I like that it helps us to keep everything in one place. It adds to the efficiency of our entire team. I like that it has potential to grow with us as we continue to grow.

I'm not involved with the daily opperations, however I do use Momentus several times each week.

I do enjoy the customizations available. For our events, we can add staff in or out with ease, simplifying staffing.

What do you dislike about Momentus Technologies?

I would like to learn more, most of my dislike lies within my limited time to learn more.

Some things don't feel like they're in logical places. It's very robust & I feel like I have to look in multiple places to find the info I want.

What do you like best about Momentus Technologies?

I find it to be easy to use and well organized, with plenty of documented articles at hand to find in the event i need to troubleshoot something or find a way to do something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Momentus Technologies?

I'd like to see a better method for tracking files and documents, specifically things like contracts, deposits, COIs, riders in a clear and simple manner; received, sent, in progress with date/timestamps included. Maybe there is a way to do this, but I have not had access privileges to go in and create or edit these. A dashboard that allowed clear tracking would be great though! I'd also like to find additional ways to export data be it JSON or SQL so I can work on automating data input, and perhaps finding ways to tie in to ticketing systems. Momentus Technologies has been a strong partner for us, and the platform is genuinely user-friendly for managing our events. The system feels intuitive and reliable, and it’s clearly designed around real-world event workflows, which makes day-to-day planning and execution noticeably smoother.

One feature I value most is how simple it is to copy an event. The ability to duplicate an existing event—along with its settings, spaces, and key details—saves a significant amount of time and cuts down on repetitive data entry, especially when we’re working with recurring events or template-based setups. It’s helped our team stay consistent, reduce errors, and spend more time on the strategic side of event management rather than getting bogged down in the initial setup.

I like that Momentus Technologies has very detailed information about the event, the location, the food, and what to have ready, which makes sure I am overly prepared and don't have to worry about last-minute changes unexpectedly. It helps us with having the rooms prepared and finding the locations of the events. Momentus also keeps us updated on everything happening on campus. We still need to use other database software as momentus does not have all of the features we need to run an event/festival based business. We are event producers rather than a venue so there are features that we need that are not included or designed in momentus as the produce is more targeted to venues rather than producers. What do you like best about Momentus Technologies?

Not sure if I'm reviewing a company or their primary product (Enterprise). I'll focus primarily on the product. Customization is the product's signature feature. Once you understand how the product works, you can really get creative and come up with some unique solutions. I like how I can tailor it with views and have control over layouts to customize the data entry experience. Our Customer Success Manager is fantastic and very responsive to our questions and challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Momentus Technologies?

Getting the product up and running is a heavy lift and a long road. There are so many layers involved and there's no way you can understand what the product can do for you when you're at the start of that road. I've been using the product for 20 years (10 years as the Admin) and I feel it's only been the last 6-7 years where I truly understand things. Knowing what I know now, I would certainly do some things differently. While the product can be easily customized for your on-screen experience, the opposite is true if you want that experience to translate to a document that is client facing. I can create a simple Word Merge Template that looks great; however, our client facing documents rarely fall into the "simple" category. So we commission someone to create Crystal Reports or a more complex Word Merge Template. The results are typically pretty good; however, they do come at a price. I've found that once they're complete and in use for a few months, we typically want change something so it's back to the drawing board. Ultimately, I want to be able to do this myself and change them once a week if I want but it requires a skill set that I don't have and hasn't been made user friendly by Momentus. It's gotten better but there's plenty of room for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Momentus Technologies?

I like that it is widely used across the convention center industry, which allows us to collaborate with other venues that do similar functions with it on data points & functionality. The software also makes it very easy to copy & paste data for repeat event, which is a huge time saver with so many annual events. The Booking calendar makes checking availability easy. Honestly the #1 thing is probably lack of training & communication about functionality. improvements. I know the software can do more than we do with it for reporting & tracking data, but still using very labor intensive processes to pull reports & track things that involve work in excel after exporting. I also appreciate the ability to customize things, but there seems to lack 1 normal process/ functionality for doing daily venue bookings things like contracts, prospecting & detailing events.
