Productivity management - I use mmhmm sync (it makes it so much easier to give my best presentation) and async (so now every meeting is massively more productive - because usually they have seen all the introductory things ahead of time - and we get right to the key questions or discussion topics).

Distributed work - our team is globally distributed (17 countries) and we use mmhmm to keep our team and different units coordinated - standard information-oriented meetings are recorded and distributed. It is useful for a flipped classroom format. I can record information I would relay in class - such as directions for using NoodleTools - and record myself while using the site. mmhmm lets me stand out during video calls, which is critical given that we're all in so many calls each day. Before using mmhmm I became accustomed to call participants turning off their camera and tuning out or multitasking. When I use mmhmm participants jaws tend to drop.
