Since we are a globally distributed team, we use async communications as our base. mmhmm allows us to share more comprehensively (and with some fun) than writing or simple zoom or loom recordings.
It is great for (a) internal communications, and (b) communications with prospects and customers - where it helps us limit the middle of night videos! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a bit of learning curve - as we onboard teammates. In addition - it would be better if the product integrated seamlessly into the rest of our toolkit - please .... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It helps keep on line learning simple and fun! As well as helps me use multi camera, multi slide set ups like a pro. It's gives me great control without having to put too much time in to the set up! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that would love to be able to do is throw in new slides or videos during a presentation and not have those go live right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
mmhmm really adds much more creativity and fun to working remotely and providing a fun and educational experience. I use the slides to make points multiple times a week. Some slides are prepared before the meeting, but I will make slides on the fly to make a point in the middle of the meeting. It's much easier to have a picture to explain a feature and train a team how to manage a new task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't really used the recording feature as much as I would like. I've dabbled at it a few times but found it a bit confusing, but I promise to give it another shot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are so many different things you can do with mmhmm, where it feels robust, but isn't onerous to use. It's an easy way to share information and not be constrained by the limits of a single format/medium. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think mmhmm can be a little jarring to those who don't have any experience with it. There are lots of ways to approach a presentation, so it takes a second to figure out where to start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like being able to make clean recordings with presentations and screenshares that look professional Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app can be clunky and the collaboration tools on the web don't work great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a salesperson, using mmhmm makes me stand out from the rest of the proverbial "crowd"; it helps my narrative take centre stage rather than just a boring old deck. It's far more engaging than delivering a dry presentation as a tile on a Zoom screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Perhaps this is more about my lack of experience with the tool, but it can be a bit daunting to start using. Additionally, having mmhmm set as the default camera can be a bit disorienting at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For me it is the ulimate tool to share information with my students in an inspiring and interactive way. Perfect for webinars, online classes and inspiration clips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside I can think of: the synchronicity between sound and image when creating recordings. (Windows 11 user) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

mmhmm is an extremely versatile tool that allows you to enhance your video presentations or recordings. The software is very customizable and allows you to appear on screen alongside your content and add effects, overlays, and GIFs on the fly. My personal favorite is the .gif of a floating taco, but of course there are much more traditionally "professional" options as well : ) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There was a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, but with a little practice I was able to learn the product and start using it easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

mmhmm allows me to stand out during Zoom (or similar) live meetings. As well as give polished, engaging and creative presentations.
It's easy to learn & use. It offers a lot of fun things you can do to make yourself and your presentation memorable.
I like that I can record multiple takes of specific slides/scenes for recorded videos. This makes redoing parts of my presentation very easy without having to rerecord the entire thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While it is easy to learn, using it live during a meeting or presentation requires a bit of muscle memory for it to look smooth.
Also wish there was a way to control my mmhmm presentation from within a Zoom meeting and not have to switch between the two apps. Would be great if there was an overlay UI for my presentation that I could access while in a zoom meeting, like a mini-player for music apps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
