mmhmm is very easy to use and yet gives a great result. Many similar tools are complex and hard to learn, mmhmm can be used to great effect after a few minutes of trying it.
I use mmhmm for on-line, real-time presentations to large classes. I can set up the presentation ahead of time with slides, backgrounds, special effects etc and then use shortcut keys to move from one scene to the next. The students love it - it really improves engagement.
I also use mmhmm for recorded videos since it gives me a great first-draft that I can then add titles etc before upload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing really. I can always use more features! But that would make it harder to learn and less user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using mmhmm for a while, and it assisted me a lot with my presentations and even to get an interview with a project I wanted to be part in.
User interface is quite good and smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The way it kidnapped my microphone and camera when I was using it alongside Teams or Zoom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mmhmm allows the presenter to insert themselves seamlessly into the presentation. You no longer need to decide between appearing as a tiny square or forgoing slides - with mmhmm you can have it all. I know it has an impact because pretty much every time I use it my audience asks me what software I'm using! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The multiple versions of mmhmm can be a bit confusing to choose between. I wish there was more consistency between versions to make it easier to decide which one works best for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mmhmm's presentation features are the best; being able to place oneself in front of their presentation while presenting virtually is game changer because it allows for the audience to be truly engaged with you. Additionally, the integrations it has with existing video call services makes it a no-brainer to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have faced issues when recording and saving videos when using Mmhmm; in one instance, I had recorded a tech talk with Mmhmm but the audio file was not saved. However, this happened only once and has worked since then. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The learning curve is virtually non existant. It easy to get to grips with and start having fun Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not a great tool for sharing lots of text small text can get blurry. The point of is it to enliven your presentation not sharing lots and lots of text Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that I can use mmhmm for live calls (Zoom, MSFT Teams, Google Meet, etc.) and pre-recorded video. My company has a heavy asynchronous (i.e. recorded video) culture, so we rely on a lot of video content to keep everyone on the same page. mmhmm allows me to make videos and live presentations that are far more engaging and interactive than what I could otherwise do with just Zoom or Loom.
I love that mmhmm allows me to make short recordings and put segmentations together (I don't have to record the whole videos at once like I do with Loom), it's a huge differentiator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. I wish mmhmm had more presentation templates so I didn't have to start from scratch.
2. Having the option to put a caption is a must. In async communication, we tend to share many recordings, and we actually encourage each other to read caption playing videos 1.5-2 x speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is dead-simple to use, includes fun templates, and is easily customizable for your entire team. I love the built-in recording functionality, which produces videos that automatically include bookmarks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The virtual camera can lag a little when pulled into third-party tools like Microsoft Teams, so make sure your computer's memory is sufficient. The video editor could also be more precise. The "Studio" version pings an Internet server whenever you first launch, and my IT department has not been cooperative in getting it whitelisted, so I have to log off my VPN, launch the program, then log back on -- it's not ideal, and it's something the "Desktop" version doesn't do. The flexibility in managing the camera stream, including backgrounds, green screen, shared screen, text and more.
It is my go-to application for creating outbound marketing as well as internal training.
Easy-to-use and setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, it works great on MacOS X on a M1 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being an early adopter and working our way through the original program and iterations, it was fun watching it develop and seeing the suggestions and ideas come to life in the program. I liked using it in meetings to liven up the same old boring sessions and using all of the fun add-ins as they came along. It gave me a reason to put some more thought and use more tools in my meetings for better engagement and interactivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In the early days, it was only available on Apple products, and that made my life challenging as my company relied on PCs, but later as the company continued to grow and add services, it was all good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
