As a nonprofit, we do not have a dedicated HR department that can manage the recruiting and hiring process - Recruiterbox has made my life a lot easier. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Hire?** I've experienced the occasional glitches where I've had to close out Recruiterbox and reopen it in order to properly scroll through pages. There are also some minor UX improvements I'd make. After saving a review or setting I am unsure if it has actually been saved because I am left on the same screen instead of automatically exiting out. **What problems is Mitratech Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?** I've been able to track applicants in a single location and haven't had to log into various job boards just to locate applications. ### 2. Recruiterbox also makes it very easy to collaborate with other members of the team, and customize it so that employees only receive notifications or tasks for the specific items they need to review. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Hire?** Really not many negatives - sometimes if you aren't careful with email settings, you can end up getting inundated with email notifications for job applications, but this is also customizable. **What problems is Mitratech Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our hiring needs are constantly changing, and it's easy to add/archive/copy existing job posts. It's very easy to customize each job posting to your specific needs, so we've been able to vet candidates from the get go and cut down on manual review time. ### 3. This improvement would save us additional time/resources as we wouldn't need to communicate these opportunities to our teams by email. **What problems is Mitratech Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?** We implemented Recruiterbox about 3 years ago, and I can't say enough good things about the product and how it has streamlined our Recruitment process. It keeps all of our interactions and candidate contact in one place - eliminating the need for spreadsheets, trackers etc. It saves us time at all stages of the process from screening applicants through to job offer. We even have our CEO using the system and he receives notification of all new hires so that he can send them a personalized welcome card. ### 4. You can easily see everything and the whole team can collaborate. I especially like that you can also have candidates add information themselves, which significantly reduces manual data entry. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Hire?** Unfortunately, you can't really manually add a lot of information about the candidate. Meaning, if there's a change in their email address or if you want to add some information, the fields aren't there. You'd have to have the candidate fill in some follow up questionnaires, which can be a little awkward. **What problems is Mitratech Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking the candidates and crunching the numbers about statistics. It's A LOT easier, if everything is already tracked in the right way by default, so that you don't have to do manual things any longer. So, now I have to manually go to my calendar, create a meeting, invite a candidate. But this may be due to incorrect settings on my end. I love how it connects to your email so all communication between yourself and the candidate can be traced. I also find it extremely simple to add new candidates or delete them. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Hire?** For me, I think they need to work out a way that if someone applies multiple times they can be stopped from doing so within a certain time period. The ads automatically go out to many FREE job sites without any action from you and that saves us a lot of time. I tried a few other similar apps before but wasn't sure about the pricing they had or the features they offered. We liked the features Recruiterbox has and the onboarding part helped learn the software pretty fast! Their customer support is top notch as well. I normally don't like dealing with phone support and like to rely on email support. Email support take a while too. But we always got a fast response the Recruiterbox team and they provided us with complete resolution every time we reached out to them. It's also super easy to track all the things under a candidate's profile page and to move candidates to custom stages. I would recommend Recruiterbox to any startup company like ours. If you're recruiting, Recruiterbox might be your answer! * Gmail conversations do not always sync, which leaves you needing to use Workable. * Duplicates are not recognized by the system. * Social media information is not always accurate. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Hire?** Maybe not being able to change the UI theme. But the #1 issue is their flawed database architecture. Candidates exist only within a single job opening. Meaning candidates are duplicated every time the same person applies for multiple jobs. Instead of one "person" who has made multiple "applications" to each opening, Recruiterbox only tracks "applications" so candidates are duplicated over and over again. This makes it impossible to track a single person as a person across job openings and across time, which makes it impossible to manage passive candidates like you would a sales lead or opportunity in a good CRM. I strongly recommend you consider other ATS software if you're in an industry where you're recruiting, warming, and staying in touch with passive candidates over time. We made the mistake of not fully evaluating their database architecture and now it's hard to switch given all the data in their system. Other things we dislike: Way too many fields to fill out to schedule an interview leave feedback on an interview, or complete other basic tasks. You have to schedule an interview using a clunky calendar tool in order to leave feedback (why can't they just let me schedule using Google Calendar, like other modern apps). When you shedule an interview there is no way to turn off automated calendar invites. But the invites are not very customizable, so we end up using our own invites and then have duplicate calendar invites. It's just not well-designed. It's my least favorite SaaS app in our tech stack. I also dislike how there's no solid integration with your corporate email (emails come from their servers and are masked, get caught in spam traps, and as soon as a candidate switches from emailing with the recruiterbox-masked email to your regular work email, none of their emails sync back into the system making internal collaboration with your team really difficult). More modern ATS systems sync with Gmail or Office 365 and pull in your email history directly, like a good CRM. It's also overly complex - not in a good way, not like good enterprise software that's complex but useful. This is a SMB tool that lacks solid product management and over time they bolted on too many useless or 1% features that cluttered the interface. **What problems is Mitratech Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's our main ATS used for all hiring in a small but rapidly growing technology startup. It gets the job done but there are much better-designed ATS systems out there. ### 43.
