"A vital tool for collaboration and shared understanding"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

Easy for anyone to get started using the basics, but also more complex features available if you want them. Makes it easy to visualise and share ideas in a collaborative space.

I've found the data tables particularly useful to be able to show the same data in multiple different views, and knowing that if I make an update to one it will sync with all the others - a big bugbear of mine is having to make the same update in multiple places so this has been a huge time saver and helped us keep things consistent! I like that you can hide and show different fields and filter the view depending on what you're using it for or who you're presenting it to, so it doesn't feel overwhelming even if you've got loads of data in there (unlike a spreadsheet which quickly becomes messy and overwhelming). I've used data tables to keep track of requirements and user needs, create user story maps, plan sprints, keep track of my to-do items.

I also like that when you copy any frame, not just data tables, you get the option to sync to the original - it makes it easy to display the same information/visuals in multiple places while still retaining a 'master' version.

I enjoyed the AI prototyping feature when it was available to us, but our organisation opted not to pay for the feature long term. Other than that, I'e not really used the AI features.

As a service designer/UCD specialist, I'm not sure I could do mom job without Miro. I use it every single day in some capacity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

One downside that I have noticed is that if you have a few large data tables on a board (or copies of a data table with different views), it can significantly slow the board down and make it difficult to move around or add to the table. In some cases we've had to create a separate board just to house the main data table, and then copied in a view to a specific board when we need it.

I've also tried the layers feature a few times which has been helpful to an extent, but we've found that the more layers we add, the less reliable it becomes. We've found that content sometimes randomly moves from a layer back to the default layer or just disappears altogether. In one project we wasted significant amounts of time trying to find out where bits of content were supposed to be and moving them back to the correct layer (sometimes this would happen every couple of days, so not just a one-off issue). It's also not particularly easy to find layers and not clear at a glance when layers have been used - so if someone in the team comes to a board that hasn't worked extensively on that project, they may miss content if they don't know its hidden in a layer.

Within the data tables, it would be easier if there was a way to bulk apply /bulk copy a field selection across multiple rows (i.e I have 20 rows that I want to add a new 'to do' tag to - currently the only way seems to be to go through them one by one and select 'to do'. It would be easier if there was a way to apply this to multiple rows at once (a bit like in excel how you can update one and then drag the corner of the cell down to copy into the next rows) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An Essential Tool for Clear Ideas"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

I use Miro to develop ideas and organize thoughts. I think it's like an online whiteboard that helps me visualize problems and ideas, allowing me to write and organize them clearly using blocks, arrows, and text. It's online and free, which is convenient, and it gives me the ability to draw problems and ideas to gain insights on how to solve them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I think the usability of Miro could be improved. Although many elements are available, the ease of using them and the way they are presented to the public could be clearer. It would be helpful to have examples of how to use them and a clearer and more organic introduction on how Miro works and what it can be used for. Additionally, learning to make the most of Miro was not as simple as I would have liked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Versatile Tool for Teaching and Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

I use Miro for teaching students the GMAT and GRE, and it really helps me annotate and diagram text. I also like using it to show tables and graphs, plus it handles calculations related to word problems quite well. It's great that it's scalable, offering endless space, and it's easy to change colors, which keeps the sessions lively for my students. The evergreen links are particularly valuable as students can revisit them anytime for review. The basic functionality is simple and all the features I need are easy to access. Setting it up was pretty straightforward, just logging in with my email was enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

It would be nice on the free plan if the downloads were in higher resolution because they're purposefully low res. I think that's kind of like a cheap thing, but I don't pay for Miro, so I understand. Maybe having email capabilities to send the board directly from Miro to a student would be beneficial. "Easy Visual Collaboration and Flexible Planning in One Shared Space"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

Miro makes visual collaboration easy. It gives teams one shared space to brainstorm, organize ideas, map out workflows and provide feedback in real time. I also like that it is flexible enough to support everything from quick whiteboarding sessions to detailed project planning. We can also laydown the details and share feedback with the team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

it can become slow especially when working on large or complex boards. Managing layers and overlapping objects is also not very intuitive, which can make organizing and editing content frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro Makes Collaborative Planning Effortless with Intuitive UI and Powerful Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

Miro has become one of the tools I rely on the most for project design and collaborative planning. I’ve used it extensively during brainstorming sessions, workflow discussions, and architecture planning, and it consistently keeps everyone aligned. The UI/UX is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate, which makes collaboration feel natural even for new users. Performance is smooth even on complex boards, and integrations with Jira, Confluence, and Slack simplify execution. I also found the AI features genuinely useful for organizing ideas faster. Their support team has been responsive whenever needed, and overall the pricing delivers excellent ROI for the productivity and collaboration benefits it provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

The only reason I’d rate it 9/10 instead of 10 is that very large boards can occasionally feel slightly cluttered, and some advanced features take time for new users to fully explore. Pricing can also feel a bit premium for smaller teams, but overall the productivity gains and collaboration efficiency make the ROI absolutely worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Infinite Canvas Collaboration That Speeds Up Ideation and Execution"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

The infinite canvas and real-time collaboration are unmatched. Being able to see live cursors, drop sticky notes, and run retrospectives using their built-in templates saves hours of meeting prep. The recent Miro AI integrations (like generating instant mind maps and flowcharts) have made mapping out early concepts significantly faster. Plus, native integrations with Jira, Slack, and Confluence make it easy to push visual ideas directly into execution workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

When boards get extremely dense with hundreds of elements, performance can lag slightly, especially on browser tabs. Additionally, search/navigation inside heavily cluttered boards can sometimes feel overwhelming for team members who aren't on the board regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Communication and Collaboration with Miro"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

I really like how Miro has made communication with buyers very easy. We can share designs, digital assets, comments, and feedback all in one place, which makes communication clear and saves a lot of time. This is especially valuable when working remotely. I appreciate that everything is organized on one board, making it easy for everyone to follow the development process and share feedback. Miro has definitely made our communication and collaboration faster and more efficient. It's easy to share ideas, get quick feedback, and keep everyone on the same page. Plus, the initial setup was very easy, allowing me to start using it quickly without any difficulty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I find large boards a little difficult to navigate, and it would be nice if there were an easier way to insert symbols. Overall, Miro works very well for me, but these small improvements could make the experience even smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Tool for Collaboration in Small Teams"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

What I like the most is that Miro allows us to have many things like diagrams, documents, brainstorming sessions, all those things together in one application without having to use several. Also, I think it is a very intuitive and very easy-to-use application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Well, 2 things, the first, would it be okay to have more than 3 free boards? No, because they can be used up quickly. The second, this year I was at a company for an internship and they used Miro, and they had the Miro full of things, so it was very slow. It took a long time to open and load, it was a bit slow. So, because it was so full, it made us work a bit slower. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use with Powerful Capabilities"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

I find Miro extremely helpful for creating wireframes and getting client feedback since it makes things visible and easily navigable. I appreciate that it allows me to put things side by side and show a sequential flow of information, which is very useful. I also like that almost anything can be visualized and edited in the visual interface in real time. It's great because it's easy to use with a short learning curve, yet it packs a ton of functionality. This combination of usability and utility helps our clients leave information and allows team members to onboard quickly. Additionally, the note linking function is helpful, and the initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I think most things work well with Miro, but the only thing that's tough is there's so much functionality that it can be a little bit difficult to understand or ascertain what we can actually do with it. For example, the AI function is really good, but because it's complex, I don't necessarily know if I know the best ways to interact with it or ways that I should be using the tool instead. I probably just need to spend more time looking at learning resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
