I use Miro a lot to share my boards with my team and share the vision of the company. I like how I can add multiple boards and then share one board and export it as a PDF for the team. Sometimes I do presentations with Miro, and this is helpful for us. Honestly, I like to share Miro with everyone, like even my friends and small circles. I've been using Miro a ton for service blueprints and journey maps. Here's what stands out for me.

Miro AI's Sidekick is handy—I rely on it heavily to create detailed service maps in about 5 minutes. I have a custom prompt that works great for service blueprints and other journey maps. It gets me 80% there fast. Plus, I can use Miro AI to ask questions and digest the large service blueprint in easy chunks.

The customizable templates save time too. They're an easy starting point for a first draft, so I don't have to build from nothing.

Compared to Claude or Gemini, the biggest plus is the infinite canvas. It lets me visualize maps and charts without limits, and I can edit them quickly. Text AIs feel boxed in; this one gives room to spread out and tweak as I go.

It's solid for what I do, though free version has export limits and you need paid for full AI. Works well solo or with a small team.

It's a strong tool, but there are spots that could use work. For one, Sidekick AI doesn't give citations like Perplexity does—if it pulled in sources or references for the maps it generates, that'd make it way more trustworthy for client work.

Navigating the infinite canvas can be tricky too. Stuff gets spread out, and I still have to give teammates a walkthrough to find everything. Some kind of search or pinned navigation would help.

Wireframing's okay for quick first drafts, but it's not as detailed as what Claude or Pencil AI churn out. Fine for sketches, but I end up refining elsewhere for polished mocks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, i think the template aspect has been the most valuable part of using Miro. The last time i worked an extended shift, i wasn’t going to start building every single layout for our board from scratch. Being able to pick a layout and then just begin was something i didn’t realize i needed until i had it. Everything we’re working on exists in one place - including links, images, videos, comments from other people and you can either share the entire board with someone or a specific section. I love the number of options available as much as i hate the fact that there are so many options. At some point the flexibility of Miro becomes a problem because you spend too much time trying to decide how to arrange your setup versus simply arranging your setup. And (this may be a minor complaint) the boards can become visually cluttered quickly if more than a few users are inputting content at the same time; i’m not aware of any method to clear the board of content in less than individual item-by-item movement. The most useful aspect is its interface, as it allows the tool to be used intuitively with a short learning curve. The integration with other tools is an excellent way to maintain the connection between different platforms, allowing for traceability of what is done on it. Its performance is excellent: it is fast and reliable.

I would dare to pay for a better experience; I consider its price to be accessible and, as it is a very useful tool in many ways, there would be a return on that investment in what is managed daily. I have not yet had experience with support because the tool has not required it.

I use Miro for school, especially in group work. It provides a clear visual for my team to see what we're working on, and we can track each other's contributions in real-time, which makes collaboration smoother. I appreciate that it allows my team to work on different parts of a project and add multiple ideas on a single board that's easy to access. I really like the diverse options of templates it offers; they're professional, fun, and easy to understand, making my work easier. The templates, including frameworks like the affinity map and the rose, thorn, and bud diagram, are very useful for projects in subjects like design thinking. I think sometimes it is hard to move certain objects that have a white background. If you try to move something, sometimes the white background will move and not with the rest of the background. Also, sometimes when too many people update a document, it blocks, and it does not allow anyone to modify it. It was uncomfortable when we were all trying to write on a doc inside the board and it did not allow us at some moment, so it made it harder to work on or export the project. I love that Miro makes it easier to share and collaborate with others in a freeform way, while also allowing for structured work, which speeds things up for me. I appreciate being able to get a lot of people together in the same virtual space and even record myself if people can't make it to a meeting. I really like how it allows for collaboration workshops and showing my work. The document and tables features are great, and I'm finding the AI prompts interesting too. I think the access is sometimes an issue for us. It's very hard to sometimes get every single stakeholder on the same board. Now there are some things that you need to add to your license to be able to use, like another premium seat, which is a bit weird, since we already have an enterprise license. Ocassionally, boards take quite long to load, when they get ti a bigger size. Something else that I think could be improved is to be easier to organize documents, and boards, as they tend to get messy really quick! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that Miro is the only tool I've found that's easy to use for all team sizes and shapes, and anyone can use it! I appreciate having one space where everyone involved can contribute and the record of anything done or written. I enjoy all the tools included and the speed of the software in general. Having the possibility to automatise some processes with AI, but the AI chatbot really doesn't work well so far, it is not good at understanding. It would be nice to be able to just paste structured text into Miro and have the AI build it for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Miro is how visual and intuitive it is.
