Registrations also allows you to create more than one event at a time which makes it easy to plan out your whole year or set up different ministry's events at a time. **What do you dislike about Planning Center Registrations?** The most inconvenient thing about registrations is having to go to the Planning Center Check-in app to set up an event check-in instead of it being automatically open when the event starts. **Recommendations to others considering Planning Center Registrations:** Planning Center has a ton of training videos and the best customer support. They are quick to respond and help you on the spot. I had mu check-in computers down and I talked with their representative that walked me through the problem until it was fixed. **What problems is Planning Center Registrations solving and how is that benefiting you?** Administering an event is no small feat and having Registrations you are able to automate a lot of the processes you would have to usually do manually. You can have the app send out emails and reminders at a certain time and you can also send out confirmation emails to registrants with updated information. ### 2. If you have a month with fewer registrants, you can lower the fee. **What do you dislike about Planning Center Registrations?** It would be great if it had action tabs that opened when clicked on. It is limited in its layout format. It can make for a relatively long-form without this feature. **What problems is Planning Center Registrations solving and how is that benefiting you?** For us, it is a quick registration solution that works with our database and keeps tabs for us in one place—just another advantage to having multiple modules with Planning Center Online. We save quite a bit with the option to pay less for the software on those months where we don't have several events. That is a bonus. ### 3. Being able to easily change and manage each type of attendee has helped me so much!! In ministry, it helps me easily know how many of which gender are signed up. Which, in turn, helps me know how many chaperones I may need. It is also super easy to apply scholarships to registerees. **What do you dislike about Planning Center Registrations?** The only I don't love about registrations is the overview and description portion of events. I hate having to put in special coding or formatting to make each section be bold or capitalized. I wish I could do that by clicking instead. **What problems is Planning Center Registrations solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm solving the problem of keeping all attendees tracked and accounted for as the complete paperwork and payment for whatever event they signed up for. I liked that I could mass email the registration form out using Planning Center People as well. Once a registration was submitted, PCO organized the information very conveniently and provided options for downloading and printing the information, which was a nice touch. I also liked that I could offer multiple options for people to register under one registation form. **What do you dislike about Planning Center Registrations?** I disliked that customization was very limited. I could upload a photo and add our logo to the top, but that was the extent of customization. It did not fit our brand well since I could not customize fonts, colors used, etc. Fields were also pretty limited to what information I could choose from. Finally, the email was flagged as spam for many of our users and hard bounced, which was unfortunate. **What problems is Planning Center Registrations solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solved the problem of helping us estimate attendance in advance to our services so that we could ensure we had enough seating with appropriate distancing during Covid precautions. ### 6. It helps us to keep track of the events that our people are going to over time and let’s us track engagement. It also works easily with the Church Center app **What do you dislike about Planning Center Registrations?** Some of the event creation is a little cumbersome especially if you have to create multiple events that are similar or a reoccurring event. **Recommendations to others considering Planning Center Registrations:** Like all planning center products this works best with their family of products planning center registrations has been a great way for us to help introduce registrations for services that have never had registrations in the past. It works well with the Church Center app so it’s easy for people to register for events and stay updated on any changes. It integrates excellently with the check in system from planning center and makes it easy for us to manage Check-Ins on Sunday morning. **What problems is Planning Center Registrations solving and how is that benefiting you?** Especially with Covid we needed a way to have our people register for Sunday morning gatherings rather than just showing up so we can keep a better count on the numbers in the room for safety. You can format your event page to look and feel however you like. Also, the fees are much less than that of Eventbrite or Eventzilla. We used to use those for different events we held, but PC Registration is much easier! And, it integrates with the rest of our PC software and we can follow up with attendees much easier! **What do you dislike about Planning Center Registrations?** Honestly, there's not anything I dislike. Which is incredible. Also, we're solving the problem of not having the ease of following up with attendees. Also, the profiles from people don't sync the same way. For example, if Nicholas "Nick" Smith is in People (first name, nickname, and last name), you can type in any of those names and that profile will show up. With Registrations and other apps within PCO, If you type in Nick, the name does not pop up, so it gives the delusion that the person is not in Planning Center. The person then creates a new profile and it becomes a duplicate in PCO People. **Recommendations to others considering Planning Center Registrations:** Try it for sure! As I pointed out, there are a lot of flaws, but I'm sure it beats out a lot of other programs. **What problems is Planning Center Registrations solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using registrations for events that our church orchestrates. Since using this we have been able to cut down drastically on our financial losses. We also are able to keep track of our guest list as well as organize who has properly filled out information and who hasn't. ### 13. If you're considering Planning Center, I highly recommend that you include Registrations.
