It is a nightmare when we acquire a new entity becuase MineralTree can only refresh the entire instance and cannot pull in the new entity from NetSuite. If the acounting software is more specialized and complex, unable to code invoices correctly. The absence of filing alone would make an A/P professional sing! All of the data is right where you need it and connected. Works seamlessly with our accounting platform and even brings documents back there as well. I no longer have to provide insight to others as it's within their reach at all times. **What do you dislike about MineralTree?** Sometimes there are glitches that have to be worked around. Their customer service is excellent, and they work with you to resolve everything quickly. Another problem that has to be watched is too many users in the accounting platform making changes there which affect the payment status in Mineral Tree. If there's a change after it's been submitted to the payment queue it gets kicked back - you have to pay attention to the emails or you can miss that. **What problems is MineralTree solving and how is that benefiting you?** One problem solved with Mineral Tree is that I no longer have to chase down approvals on invoices. That manager interacts with Moneral Tree directly and has access to see the invoice and status at all times. An additional benefit is that they can help themselves find answers instead of asking A/P. I had a syncing problem with invoices. He understood my issue, escalated the situation, and quickly came to a resolution. The entire support team has always addressed my questions rapidly. They are not afraid to pick up the phone; they provide step-by-step articles and do all of it with kindness. The software is easy to use, and the team is friendly to work with; it’s a great partnership. **What do you dislike about MineralTree?** Applying a credit is funky, but I have chosen not to use them in Mineral Tree. Instead, I make journal entries in my accounting software. **What problems is MineralTree solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are all working remotely. It stores of you previously coded them, who to send it to for approval. The company I was working with before kept paper copies of everything and to switch to a company that uses Mineral Tree was an eye opener for me. **What do you dislike about MineralTree?** I wish that you could have two windows open of Mineral Tree and have them on different screens. The first tab will end up going to the second tab somehow and then I lose my spot where I am. **Recommendations to others considering MineralTree:** This is the best thing to automate AP of any company. It stores all the invoices and is super easy. It even helps you to cut down on cutting checks, sending ach, or even making credit card payments. **What problems is MineralTree solving and how is that benefiting you?** The most straightforward problem to solve with Mineral Tree is when everything is due. You can sort by the due date and realize if you have any late payments that you need to push through. The invoices tab can also be sorted by vendor, so if that vendor sends a statement, you can see if you have all the invoices in your system. ### 25. This integration allows for my accounting team to quickly get invoices into our financial reports. Our accountants are saved m lot of time by not having to code these invoices. In additional the mailing and ACH are fantastic. Our favorite tools are how you can see payments to vendors so that we can quickly research past bills, also we acan quickly find out the check number and routing information for payments that were made. **What do you dislike about MineralTree?** invoice approving can be better and we can have more options. I would like the user to be able to amend workflows better and when invoices are rejected, we need more control when the invoices needs more details. WTHere should be a process or workflow to gather more information. Also the security features are so good that it becomes a pain with logging in and out. but That level of security is important so it really is not a problem but maybe can be improved upon **What problems is MineralTree solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have many entities, and each entity has various workflows. We had an entire accounting department trying to handle all these invoices and were they go. In addition it also took more time from our accountant get get all the invoices coded correctly into QB, and even then he would make mistakes. The new tool automates it all and make it easy for our line users to have contorl of where information is being sent to. Also the maileing funciton has saved tons of time for our staff ### 26. Everything you need from posting to paying is at your fingertips. Very efficient and easy to use. Invoices are accurately captured and very minimal work is left for the accounting individual to do after. **What do you dislike about MineralTree?** Can't really say there is much that is not helpful in Mineral Tree. I have yet to encounter any downsides to using Mineral Tree. If there is anything I would like to see is a shorter waiting time for incoming invoices to be ready for posting within the same day of receiving them in the software. **Recommendations to others considering MineralTree:** It is definitely a software that is very helpful in the accounting department. **What problems is MineralTree solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mineral Tree has made my work more efficient and time saving. No need for paper trails and vendors are able to send invoices directly to our mineral tree email. I can process invoices quicker and receive the approvals needed. I love that I can see the invoice right there in the system. **What do you dislike about MineralTree?** That I can't add in the amount columns like i can in QB and that the checks are mailed from back east (we are on west coast). **What problems is MineralTree solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time! I save a HUGE amount of time running our AP. The biggest benefit is the invoice approval process within Mineral Tree. ### 32. I'd like to be able to filter by how many reviewers or approvers are left. Additionally, the screen makes it hard to see the invoice as it gets squished down. **Recommendations to others considering MineralTree:** Great for automating AP **What problems is MineralTree solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving the need to manually put in invoices to get paid via accounts payable. This has streamlined our process and made it much easier to run AP at a high level with a high volume of transactions. ### 33. Sometimes green and red look the same for people who are color blind. Also, I wish errors would show up in the search function. **Recommendations to others considering MineralTree:** Mineraltree is always making updates to their system/software. Everyone in the company wants your company to do well in payments and AP and you can tell by how much they take your opinions. **What problems is MineralTree solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can have employees approve invoices before we pay them to our vendors. The approval process helps us understand if our billing is correct or if I need to reach out to our vendors with clarification ### 36. Setting up new vendors, especially 1099 vendors is best done inside QuickBooks. Entering bills is the fastest in QuickBooks vs. entering them in an outside product. We work as we normally do in the accounting and then Mineral Tree is out approval and paying system. **What do you dislike about MineralTree?** The checks are thin and many vendors have tossed them as they do not look real. We also do not like the Vendor name printing on the envelope since our vendor names contain misc info such as "Needs W9" or "W9=Scorp" The name in the address field should be fine for this purpose. Attaching images to bills is clunky with too many clicks, but they are working to improve this. **Recommendations to others considering MineralTree:** Keep this one high on your list to demo if you use QuickBooks Desktop **What problems is MineralTree solving and how is that benefiting you?** We do not have to hunt down signatures or go to the post office for any of our A/P clients. ### 37. After implementing MineralTree, AP became a breeze and I was confident that bills were getting approved and we had a solid audit trail. The approvers, who are outside finance, also found the software easy to use. ### 38. In fact, the system pays for itself by not having to order check stock and pay postage. We reduced our AP clerks hours from 25 to 15 with no other changes except Mineral Tree. **What problems is MineralTree solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our old process was entirely paper-dependent. I don't know how we would have survived COVID without Mineral Tree. It allowed us to process, approve, and pay invoices while working from home in less time than our old method in the office. ### 41.
