It works smoothly and is a stable system. Being an IT professional that supports our Library staff and faculty where Millennium is concerned, I have found that the interfaces are easy enough to be used by those that are not as technical as others. The ease of use is what I is its best asset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The SSL certificates have been the most difficult part of the system. With the move to most all related site being SSL (which is a good thing), the deployment of the certificates have been a bit of a challenge. It is more technical than some Library personnel want to get into. We had to purchase a wildcard certificate to be used. Even after properly submitting it, iii seemed to have difficulty themselves getting it installed in all the correct places. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like how Millennium ILS makes it easy for librarians to accomplish what they need to accomplish by meeting the demands of the most busy comprehensive library operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike is that there has been a lot of glitches in the system. Sometimes it takes a while for me to upload things to the library catalog for the librarians to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Millenium was intuitive and easy to use. It allowed us to run reports, get statistics and diagnostics and even for a user who, at the time, was unfamiliar with cataloging, still gave us the ability to search and sort through our materials with ease. Patron data was easy to organize as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There was very little I disliked about millenium. The at-the-time interface was a little clunky and not aesthetic but I have yet to see an ILS that isn't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn't anything that I don't like .so far there's nothing that needs changing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a recent, but past, user of Innovative's Millennium ILS, I find that it is what all other ILS offerings want to be. It has quick, easy to understand, and fast moving interfaces for all functions of the standard ILS user, in a super easy to read and utilize interface. We recently switched to a new ILS, and I much prefer the ease of use, features, and functionality of Millennium to the new product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My sole complaint concerning Innovative's Millennium Interface is the standard color scheme. The blue green of the interface does not contrast well with the white text box backgrounds and default text coloration, making for some headache-causing visual issues for some users in my library system. For users that enjoy java based mouse dependent systems, this is a good fit. For an LMS, it does the job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the dependency on the mouse. For efficiency I prefer keyboard shortcuts to free up one of my hands Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Outdated interface. Freezes frequently. Hard to figure out how to bypass certain screens for increased efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's an intuitive ILS! Easy to learn and to teach others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not too much room to customize and very little support. Wish there was more interconnectivity between the modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
