What do you like best about Midjourney?

Midjourney consistently produces visually stunning, high-resolution images that often exceed expectations in terms of detail and quality. Its ability to interpret prompts creatively makes it a fantastic tool for concept art, mood boards, and experimental designs. The outputs have a realistic and professional finish, making it invaluable for generating visuals that can inspire or enhance creative projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Midjourney?

The biggest limitation with Midjourney is its lack of integration with other design software, which can slow down workflows. It requires extra steps to export and import images into tools like Photoshop for additional edits, which can disrupt the creative flow. Also, the prompt control is somewhat limited, so achieving specific details or iterations can be challenging without trial and error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Midjourney?

Not good to handle with some specific objects and human parts. Problems with texts, some specific details and consistency, when I want to create a sequence of images or a very similar illustration it's been very difficult to handle with it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Midjourney?

Innovative Approach to Creativity:

Midjourney breaks new ground in AI-generated art by allowing users to create images from natural language descriptions, or prompts. This unique approach taps into the power of AI to transform textual input into visually captivating images. The tool's focus on design, human infrastructure, and AI showcases a forward-thinking approach to creativity.

Continuous Improvement and Evolution:

The commitment of the Midjourney team to enhance their algorithms is commendable. Regular releases of new model versions, with the latest being the alpha iteration of version 5, demonstrate a dedication to refining and advancing the capabilities of the tool. The progression from version 2 to version 5.1 showcases a commitment to quality and innovation.

Discord Integration and User-Friendly Commands:

Midjourney's integration with Discord makes the creative process seamless. Using commands like "/imagine," users can effortlessly generate sets of images based on their prompts. The variety of commands, such as "/blend" for image blending and "/shorten" for prompt optimization, enriches the user experience, providing versatility beyond simple image generation. Limited Accessibility Beyond Discord:

While the Discord integration is convenient, some users may prefer alternative platforms. Expanding accessibility beyond Discord, even though a web interface is in the works, could further broaden the tool's reach and user base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Midjourney?

Easy To Use, Implement, and Integrate -- Being hosted in Discord is a major hack. Super easy to use and took under 2 hours to really understand how MidJourney works. Using Variations, Aspect Ratios, and Zoom just seemed like a no-brainer.

High Quality -- Sometimes it takes a few tries, but I'm normally extremely satisfied with the results! I use MidJourney almost every day!

Amazing Community + Customer Service -- The community that MidJourney has built is impressive. Fellow Users are always willing to teach and answer questions from new users! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Midjourney?

Faces Are Horrible On First Run -- When a face is generated the first time is usually not good: eyes missing, noses missing chunks, etc. Only if you reference the person in detail in the prompt specifically do these issues go away.

Extra Arms + Legs -- Occasional Tri pedal people are generated and people with a ton of arms.

Missing Videos -- Seems like MidJourney could come out with this soon, super excited to see what they come out with on this front. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Midjourney?

1. Really easy to understand & setup as the community on Discord channel is very prompt & the support is quick in responding.

2. Simple prompting is enough to generate a high quality image & variations.

3. The filters, dimmenssions & diffusion model are perfectly available upfront without the need to explore much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Midjourney?

1. Few introductory videos or any help videos are not readily available on the platform for quick reference. Need to always checkout the Discord.

2. Pricing is expensive and currently they have removed the free version also.

3. Few potrait images of living beings can go wrong as it produces extra hands, faces which has to be removed again with a seperate prompt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As per current time, the AI Generation world is updating its methods continously, so there is nothing to dislike but yes, Personally I think they should make online tutorials on their website to understand the usage of prompts and other methods to generate the images in their websites or a group in Discord itself. What do you like best about Midjourney?

We can create stunning images without the hassle of manual design work or expensive tools like Photoshop. It's a game-changer for people like me looking to add visually captivating images to their projects with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Midjourney?

I found it a bit inconvenient that Midjourney is only available through Discord, as I didn't have an account before. I had to create one to access the platform. While the integration with Discord does make it accessible to many users, I think some people might prefer a standalone application for more convenience and ease of use.
