Our M&A team relies heavily on Midaxo for their buy-side transactions. The user interface is intuitive, and easy to navigate. They consistently remark on the improved efficiency that this platform has provided with streamlining processes and automations. They also take comfort in knowing its secure and have been impressed with the permission controls and encryption it affords. It is refreshing to have SaaS that I hear no complaints about and consistently her that the support is top notch. Also appreciate the affordability of the product as it pays for itself in efficiencies gained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't comment on this- its truly been an upgrade that we are very grateful to have implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's been great so far. Having our entire Corp Dev function from long term targets, active deals, and even integration work in one place is great. Good for the folks on the corp dev team to manage the platform and make it very easy for the execs to be able to just log in and see where anything stands and who is assigned for it. Overall has been easy to implement and the customer support team has been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far not many complaints. Wish the upload of tasks was a little cleaner instead of having to do a funky index system to load an excel file for it. We would like to be able to customize the tasks area a bit to add things like priority or other custom fields that impact every task rather than having to put the info in the title of the task. Filtering by priority would be nice. Also, would like the admin profile be able to manage the email updates that go out. Default is set to hourly right now but rather than mass-email every VDR guest we would like the ability to just manage those ourselves vs telling them how to do it. Midaxo is a great tool to have all deals in the pipeline in one place. The interface is very easy to use and easy to track where different projects are and helps prioritize. Additionally, the integration with Outlook is extremely helpful. Instead of searching through old emails, having the ability to copy the project directly from emails and have it entered into the project is a huge time saver. We often have discussions with companies over several months or years so having the ability to go back and track the communication and what information we have is perfect. The only minor complaint would be for fields within projects, once you set up lists, it can be a pain to add more categories. If there was a way to type something and if it's not on the list just have the option to add from the project card would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simple system, useful for basic pipeline management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system often has bugs, is slow to respond on certain browsers and we even once had a few notes dissapear due to technical issues.
During our offboarding / migration from the platform, we got a very poor treatment. We had issues with exporting notes / data out of the system, which they were in part able to produce manually but somehow were not willing to assist us with.
In addition, a couple of weeks before leaving the platform the export function had technical issues. So we wound up having to export a bulk of notes/data with limited datapoints. No effort was made on their end to assist us with this issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can have each deal stage outlined to help keep you organized. The notes feature is excellent for following up with deals that have sat idle for too long Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes there are bugs or missing features. Support has been good at solving them and data room has improved Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to configure and leverage Midaxo without needing internal IT resources is a huge upside. The tool is intuative and requires minimal time to traing new users. I love that Midaxo allows the end user to shape and mold the tool to best fit their needs. Each process within the workspace can look different, but can all be tied into the same reports which allows for dynamic reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish the Value Tracker function had the capability to move initiatives like tasks can be moved around in the task tree. Additionally, it would be great if additional text fields could be added to the Value Tracker initiative information and Tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ryan was very helpful in assisting us with our build out of our integration tools and pipeline. Midaxo helped us bring more structure to our acquisition and integration processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some reporting requires customer support to customize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Midaxo makes it easy to engage with Sellers and allow them to respond to requests, upload required diligence materials, and track all communications related to those activities. It creates a permanent detailed account of all activities related to teh transaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Finding documents can be challenging, also it doesnt provide an easy way to enable and track Q&A Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is very easy to use and allows for full spectrum of Corporate Development needs, from CRM to project management to serving as a Diligence platform and PMI operations portal. It's hard to find a platform that can cover all aspects well and Midaxo does it better than most of its competitors. Onboarding/implementation is also relatively easy. And, I use it daily - it's part of my workflow and my colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some pieces that could benefit from updating, enhancement, including reports (the ppts are hard to create, not aesthetic and not particularly useful. I still make my own reports). And, user onboarding/permissions can be cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
