MicroStation is a modeling environment explicitly for the architecture, engineering, construction, and operation of all infrastructure types including utility systems, roads and rail, bridges, buildings, communications networks, water and wastewater networks, process plants, mining, and more. MicroStation can be used either as a software application or as a technology platform.

What do you like best about MicroStation?

There is a problem that the lines drawn in the latest v8 version, but in this version, cannot be opened in the previous versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MicroStation?

I mean you are able to develop CAD drawings with it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MicroStation?

It uses other file formats. DGN instead of DWG. Autocad and civil 3d seem to be there standard in my opinion. So when I get DGN files it's frustrating and time wasting. Autodesk and Microsation should share the same file extension or merge. This would save a lot of headache in the industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wouldn't say there's downsides, but if you're not too familiar with CAD products such as AutoCAD, it might be a difficult for you at first but the good thing is the more you use it the easier it gets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MicroStation?

What do you like best about MicroStation?

Easy drafting any Engineering working drawing and editing and the collaboration across teams this software is effective and on my initial implementing it was very simple without technical help.

3D rendering Engine capability is impressive and very cost effective and i have to mention the design sharing and documentation ability with the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
