Apps like Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook are very reliable and widely used, so collaboration becomes easier with clients and teams. I also like the cloud sync with OneDrive because files can be accessed from anywhere and backup is automatic. Excel is specially very powerful for reporting and data management. Overall it feels stable, professional and good for both small and large organisations. **What do you dislike about Microsoft 365?** One thing I dislike about Microsoft 365 is that some apps feel little heavy and slow sometimes, specially on lower-end systems. Outlook can also become confusing with too many settings, notifications and email threads. Another issue is that licensing and subscription plans are not always very clear, so managing users and features can get complicated for organisations. Teams helps with meetings and quick communication, while OneDrive makes file sharing and backup much easier. It also improves productivity because multiple people can work on same files together in realtime, and cloud access helps when working remotely or from different devices. ### 3. I find excel is great for creating graphs to explain data. Microsoft word is great for writting essays. I believe its ease of use, professional design, and widespread user base allowing easy sharing and collaboration really set it apart. Further, M365 integrates easily with many other platforms, the desktop apps allow high workloads without being likely to crash as I find with some browser based tools, and lastly, Microsoft copilot is a very useful AI integrated directly into their tools. **What do you dislike about Microsoft 365?** The web versions of M365 apps also feel noticeably inferior to the desktop versions and can be slower than its competitors. However, using the desktop apps solves this issue. Further, it can costly. Luckily I had the student plan (integrated into my tuition) but for personal use the price can be more of a burden. **What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?** In school it was very useful to use excel for graphing. My school (UBC) would even create tutorials specifically about creating the graphs with excel, not considering alternatives because excel is very good for this purpose. ### 5. The integrations with other apps are really powerful, and all of it can be controlled from a single account. The suite can be set up on a Windows system or used directly in your web browser, which makes it easy to work the way you prefer. **What do you dislike about Microsoft 365?** The licensing cost is high and the setup feels too complex for small companies. There isn’t really an option that fits smaller teams; it’s obviously designed for large organizations. There’s also no option to allocate your M365 infrastructure in your own cloud, so you end up relying on Microsoft entirely. **What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have the opportunity to have my mail, Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Power Automate all under just one email, and I can access everything from anywhere. Additionally, because the software is so feature-rich, the interface can occasionally feel cluttered and heavy. For someone who just wants to do quick, simple editing, the initial learning curve to find specific advanced settings can be a bit steep. Lastly, the desktop applications sometimes take a while to load on systems with average specifications. **What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Microsoft 365 solves the problem of version control and professional formatting. Before using it, keeping track of different drafts of my manuscripts and educational materials was a challenge. With OneDrive, I no longer worry about losing data or working on the wrong version of a file. It also solves the collaboration gap. Since I work with editors and peer reviewers, the ability to leave comments and track changes in real-time saves hours of back-and-forth emails. The main benefit for me is the professionalism it adds to my work; the templates and layout tools allow me to create high-quality educational workbooks that are ready for publishing platforms like Amazon KDP immediately. It essentially acts as a one-stop office for my entire content creation workflow. ### 9. This has helped in streamlining the time taken in gathering and cleaning data for example from emails the traditional way. . Unlike the other al apps it give customized and personalized feedback . The excel function of microsoft is by far one of the best! It can be integrated with other apps like Python and also the Big data functionality.. It comes with the power query function to process and clean large data sets. And lastly it works perfectly offline. **What do you dislike about Microsoft 365?** The pricing is a bit on the high spectrum compared to other apps which offer close functionalities especially for non heavy users. **What problems is Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps with literally streamlining and automating processes with the organization, Tasks such as data cleaning and transformation. Specifically foe our organization we have managed to create payroll calculators for large group of people. Once macros and rules are set, they remain active and allow other end users to continue using the same file without needing expertise. Most time adding data and refreshing is all they need to do. ### 10. Wherever you go with a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint document, you can work with the file and open it without problems, as it is a universal format. **What do you dislike about Microsoft 365?** I don't like the way they manage licenses. As an administrator, I have access to the management platform, but it's very complicated for me to create a budget because each tool has a different cost; for example, Office 365 Web or the desktop applications, and also another price for Microsoft Teams.
