Defender for Office 365 does protect our Office 365 services from the zero-day attack, which I liked about it, and as an admin, most of the threads are automaticated based on our organization policy, which we set to aggressive mode. As such, major problems include phishing emails and files, which are now being scanned by the defender before they reach the user's mailboxes.
