There are many actually, but I personally like the protection against malicious URLs, & how this feature is embedded to microsoft teams & other Microsoft 365 products like MS Outlook, to defend against Malicious URLs & phishing attacks.

The best thing about this feature is, you never realise that its there, whenever you click on some url that is being shared on MS Teams or MS outlook, it automatically verifies the URL, before redirecting to the actual URL. Thats best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I haven't seen any downside of Microsoft 365 Defender as such but the most less used feature for me would be query based hunting. I personally never used to for any data churning for any incident.
