Microsoft Photos is user-friendly and intuitive. The interface is created with accessibility in mind, making it simple for users of all technical levels to manage their images efficiently. It provides strong organizational tools that let users quickly sort, classify, and tag their photos. The search option makes it simpler to find desired photos among vast collections by allowing users to rapidly seek particular images based on keywords, dates, locations, or persons. What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?

Because of its close integration with the Windows ecosystem, Microsoft Photos is primarily made for Windows-based devices. For users who like alternative operating systems like macOS or Linux, this may be restrictive. Microsoft Photos does have a web version, however it does not have the same features as the native Windows software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?

With the following features for users' benefit: Simplified Photo Organisation, Seamless Cross-Device Synchronisation, Easy Editing and Enhancement, Visual Storytelling, and Integration with Windows Ecosystem, Microsoft Photos seeks to address a number of common issues with photo administration and editing. What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?

One of the best things about Microsoft Photos is its automatic tagging system. The app uses artificial intelligence to recognize the content of your photos and tag them accordingly. This makes it easy to search for specific photos by keyword or category, even if you have thousands of them.

Another feature that I appreciate is the app's ability to create albums and slideshows. You can group photos by event, location, or any other criteria you choose, and create albums that you can easily share with friends and family. The app also offers a variety of slideshow templates, making it easy to create professional-looking presentations with just a few clicks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?

As for what I dislike about Microsoft Photos, there are a few minor issues. For example, the app can be a bit slow to load when you have a large number of photos. Additionally, while the app's basic editing tools are useful, they may not be enough for users who need more advanced editing features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?

Microsoft Photos solves the problem of managing and organizing a large collection of photos. Before using this app, I struggled to keep track of my photos, often wasting time searching through hundreds of files to find what I needed. With Microsoft Photos, however, I can easily categorize my photos by event, date, or other criteria, making it easy to find the photos I need quickly.

Another problem that Microsoft Photos solves is the need for basic photo editing tools. While I'm not a professional photographer, I still want my photos to look their best. With Microsoft Photos, I can quickly adjust the brightness, contrast, and color of my photos, and the app even offers automatic enhancements that can improve the overall look of my photos. The way I can sort and view memories by categories, by dates, by albums and folders. Get to see the photos in different grids. Having the possibility of being able to visualize all those memories through a presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?

The options for importing images from other devices. The display options of the tool and its color palettes and even the way of accommodating the images by dates without further detail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?

The amount of images that I have after each of my trips is a bit difficult to organize and save. With this tool I have managed to solve the way in which I can classify and organize the memories of each trip and show it to my friends and family. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?

It is versatile (yet confusing at times) and user friendly management and editing applicaitons.

Automatically organize and categorize photos, creates albums and collages

Not to mentions seamlessly integrates with other microsoft product such as One Drive and Windows 10.

Automatic tagging is useful feature

Upside: Free application that comes pre-installed with windows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very much limiting, the editing tools are not that great and looks very basic.

Sometimes the gui is very confusing to navigate.

least useful: for me personally the remix feature which atomatically creats a video. I can create a better one :)

Downside: Not powerful or feature-rich compared to others Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?

In my experience as a user of Microsoft Photos, I find the app to be very versatile and efficient when it comes to managing my photo and video collection. One of the features that I appreciate the most is the ability to easily import media from various devices and organize them into albums with descriptive tags. This feature makes it very easy to locate and manage my media library. Additionally, I find the app's built-in editing tools to be impressive, as they allow me to enhance my photos with ease. Another feature that I find particularly useful is the video and slideshow creation tool, which allows me to compile my media into creative and shareable content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?

Despite the many advantages of Microsoft Photos, there are also a few areas that I believe could be improved. One of the biggest issues I have encountered is the app's performance speed, which can be slow at times, particularly when working with large files or media libraries. Furthermore, while the editing tools are functional, they are not as powerful as those found in other dedicated photo editing software. Lastly, I believe the app's integration with cloud storage services beyond OneDrive could be improved, as it limits the flexibility for users who rely on other cloud storage solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lack of a central location for managing media, Limited editing tools, Difficulty in creating and sharing multimedia content are the problems that are resolved using MS photos Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?

Very user friendly, it is quite easy to navigate across folders VS doing it within a window.

Also, it's pretty handy if changes are needed for pictures/images for those who don't have any experience in photo edition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?

For visualization, sometimes may be easier to go through a list of documents with a preview at the right of the screen to easy navigation. I don't like that I can only see icons and there's no way to change it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?

I always back up all personal files in the cloud. I like the idea to sync my PC with OneDrive in one single place. In this way I don't need to have separate windows. All in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
