Having metadata and being able to use this as a filter. The fact that you can create databases with workflow to do what you want (ie notifrications, alerts etc) is a plus. When you archive a document (set metadata as "archived"), it is hard to know which docuemnt is in archive as there is no indictaion unless you drill down to the metadata. It would be useful if once a docuemnt is archived, it looks different (ie greyed out, italics etc). I love that we use SharePoint as a software that essentially houses a ton of different documents for different departments. I have been using Microsoft SharePoint for the past year which relates to the frequency of use. It has many useful features for organizations. Ease of use is this SharePoint. When used correctly - the security of knowing you are looking at the most up-to-date version of a file is such a relief. The combinations of roles and shared OneDrive folders ensures secure control remains in the hands of the correct owner. Syncing to your Windows File Explorer has been the biggest battle with end users and the hardest thing to teach resisters.

Also, working with PDF 's in the cloud has come a long way - but it's expensive and still not as seamless as it needs to be for wider adoption and greater efficiency.

The what-not-to-do's in SharePoint should be more visable and better communicated to end-users. For example, Copy and Pasting folders rather than using the move function, and allowing the proper time for completion.
