  ### 8. Decent

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Microsoft Exchange?**

It is software that is remarkably faultless in preserving and offering as well as sending the worksheets or emails to all of its customers. It is also extremely simple to install and use. Since it has been around for so long, whatever it does best just naturally works. The functions have been upgraded and are quite easy to use when compared to the 2018 edition.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Exchange?**

No one now uses it, and the program is incredibly dated and boring. The majority of the problems, faults, glitches, and bugs have already been eliminated from this software's system. The most recent version of the software is Exchange 2019. Microsoft has quickly transitioned to a subscription-based business model. Users and customers will now pay a monthly subscription to continue using Exchange on-premises rather than the existing licensing arrangement, which includes Windows 10 and Office licenses. There are no new features with the update because the 2018 version already contains all the functionality and was published in 2019.

**What problems is Microsoft Exchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I used this program in 2010, there were issues that current version of 2019 fixed, such as the cache and the need to lessen Exchange's memory footprint. Despite a significant increase in hardware power over the last five years, I was never made aware of any Exchange Server hacks. I don't think Exchange Admins will actually need it, in my opinion. As a user, I now understand that it is now possible to install this program on Server Core, which was a function that we really required since the 2010 edition of this product.

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Microsoft Exchange?**

It helps in managing active mailboxes and shared mailboxes. Helps in increasing size of mailbox which is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Exchange?**

Web acces can be improved more like an application.

**What problems is Microsoft Exchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Due to end user proximity to server
performance and information access without internet helps in improving perfofmance and access times as long as exhange server is well configured and set up.

  ### 12. Great way to tie in all your email needs

**What problems is Microsoft Exchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to communicate with my peers and get to my clients in the quickest way possible. I have everything connecting within (smartphone, tablet, computer, etc)

  ### 14. Active Directory Service: Microsoft Exchange Server 2019

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sushobit R. | Tester, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Microsoft Exchange?**

It is software that is actually very easy to install and use, and is splendidly flawless in maintaining and providing as well as delivering the worksheets or mails to all of their users. It has been around so long the thing it does the best just works. As compared to the 2018 version the features have been improved and are very smooth to use

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Exchange?**

Its very old and dull software, as well as no one, uses it now. Most of the sticks flaws glitches and bugs have already been removed and assured out of the system of this software. It is (Exchange 2019 ) the last version of the product. Microsoft is very fast forward and has moved to a subscription-based model. Instead of the current licensing model, like windows 10, Office licenses, now the users and the customers will pay a monthly fee to continue using Exchange on-premises. As it was released in 2019 the 2018 version already has all the features so no new features with the upgrade.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Exchange:**

its very old don't use it unless you have to

**What problems is Microsoft Exchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I used this software back in 2010 there were problems which this version of 2019 solved like the cache, to reduce the memory footprint of Exchange. Over the past few years, hardware power dramatically increased and I never heard of any Exchange Server hacks being caused. In my opinion, I doubt that Exchange Admins will really need it. As a user now I have realized that you can now install this software also on Server Core which really and definitely was a major missing feature that we needed since the 2010 version of this software

  ### 17. Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liane M. | Founder & Head Crack-up, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Microsoft Exchange?**

Easy to install and configure, much more stable than previous versions

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Exchange?**

Online threat, vulnerable to cyber-attacks

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Exchange:**

Make sure you have your requirements properly documented, and if you are planning on migrating from an older version or even a completely different email system, install a new, clean version of Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 and use the Microsoft tools to migrate the mailboxes (after backing up the mailboxes to a separate secure cloud location or external SSD in case something goes wrong) from the old email system to Microsoft Exchange Server 2019.
