In our organisation we had a scenario where few users were accessing applications from outside network without proper VPN. Earlier it was very hard to track and control this. After moving to Microsoft Entra ID, conditional access made it much easier. We blocked risky sign in and enforced MFA only when users are outside trusted locations. This reduced lot of security alerts and gave us more confidence in user access. I also liked the Single Sign-On feature, because before we had multiple passwords issues, and now users just sign in once to access Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and even third-party apps. The main challenge I faced is during hybrid setup with our on-premises Active Directory. The sync setup with Azure AD Connect was not very difficult, and some group policies did not reflect properly at first. Also, the admin portal sometimes feels complicated.
