Visual studio code is a powerful and feature packed text editor. It's best feature is the availability of a large number of extensions which make working very efficient and convenient. The only thing that i dislike about VS code is that debugging becomes too difficult for industry level applications where we have to place multiple debugging points throughout the code to know the flow. It gets stuck when debugging points are large in number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

According to me Visual Studio is one of the best IDE out there. The reasons are-
1. The best thing about vs code is the extensions available there. It made the whole experience of writing code so easy.
2. With the help of various extensions you can customize the vs code the way you want. Like if you previously used other IDE like intellij or codeblocks, you can customize the vs code like them.
3. It have a vibrant support of online community. So any problem you face can be easily solved by them.
4. It's freely available for windows, mac and linux operating system. You just have to install it from the respective app stores. And the installations process it nothing by pressing the next buttons. So it's very easy to implement.
5. After I started using VS code I never used any other IDE. I regularly use it in my day to day codes.
6. You can easily integrate it with any project you are working on be it machine learning or be it any web application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Vs code is not suitable for android development. I have to install Android Studio for that. I think it should be also included. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Visual Studio is a versatile and robust IDE for application development with tons of plugins and tools that are incredibly helpful in developing applications.
It also supports multiple languages, offers a customizable interface, and integrates well with collaboration tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub for source control. Implementing changes in Visual Studio is extremely easy. I can make one change in one file and immediately I can apply those changes everywhere with the help of VS. There are n number of features that I love from Visual Studio and that I use daily.
I have been using Visual Studio since the start of my coding journey and I can safely say that my preferred choice for an IDE will always be Visual Studio for web development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love using Visual Studio but even it has it's downsides. Visual Studio has resource-heavy nature, which can lead to slower performance on lower-end machines. Even in my powerful laptop it sometimes lags due to it's heavy assemblies. If it gets lighter and efficient, then it would be great. When I started using Visual Studio, I found the user interface to be cluttered and overwhelming. So the same issue is also faced by beginners. as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
