* Azure Container Registry is easy to use and setup containers.
* Provides native containers for Azure.
* Have inbuilt security and access control.
* If you are using Azure then this works like a charm
* We deployed our product on windows for clients and Azure works really well with windows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had experience of Azure CLI that made this product experience very intuitive and easy to use. But if you are unfamiliar with Azure world and docker world things can be steep to learn. But can be easily understood.
Some native Microsoft products like office still don't support containers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Masters are managed - no need to worry about or pay for that. Basic product works "out of the box" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One node pool, which type you can't change after setup
Azure services integration is problematic - lb are created only in basic sku, and cannot be changed, No ability to use standard tier public ips, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Azure container registry can be used alternately to host a docker image.
You can create a script to be used in a pipeline which will push the docker image to the Azure registry.
We create a container in the registry by searching for a container and creating a new registry name, use existing or new resource group, the location, and select if the registry is managed or no.
I like how all the dashboard items squeeze into icons on the left when you are on any given new window, although you may need to be familiar with all the icon images to be able to select whatever you need, but its pretty neat,to have all of them listed there.
Use access keys to push the local docker image into the registryusing the tag fibon api.
The image is then seen on the repositories.
You can also pull the image into the local machine too.
Docker and Azure are new technologies we are exploring in the company and we are still new to this technology but from what we have seen,it seems like a pretty inclusive tool to use docker images, several different apps, create containers etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are still evaluating, this is a new technology in the company and up until now we have not found any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think the only good thing about the project is that they have open sourced the project. But that probably means that Microsoft is dropping support for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything, but especially the Emulator that takes 5 minutes to start up each day. The deployments take at least 30 minutes to go out so that is awful as well. I am currently in the process of migrating away from service fabric and getting the UI into a docker container and a node.js app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ACR service is fantastic for hassle free integrations with other Azure services, such as AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service). No need to worry about third party integrations, simply link a service principal from your app and you're good to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the documentation is scattered but this has gotten better as the platform has matured more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

super easy to use, easy to install and configure, minimal code changes for it to work.
and the provided dashboard is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
some of the errors you can get from the service fabric are very vague, so you can waste a lot of time trying to understand what happened. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Good scalable product that gives a good end user experience. Good performance that scales to your usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pricey. Costs can easily get way from you. This, this seems to be more geared to the enterprise than for small businesses. But, this is not surprising for a Microsoft product. The initial account is free, but it seems they are really after the Enterprise clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To be honest I liked the fact that they reached out to me to see if I needed help but... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I responded to the e-mail reaching out for help they never responded back Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its similar like other docker registry and same native docker commands supports, Cool integrations available for AKS service and Multi-cloud supported registry for all types Docker orchestrator Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing much differences , Its similar like other container registry service example like Gcloud container registry services, I used both of them and I didn't fine any differences, One thing I noted they dont have vulnerability scanning in the registry services itself, we have to use the third party for Container vulnerability scanning Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For starters, the fact that AKS only has the need for one primary OS (host), and the engine for the container, makes managing the Apps much simpler and more efficient, as there are less factors at play. Because of this, the size of our containers are also much smaller than the average size of our VMs we were using to host the same apps.
Likewise, spinning up a new container so quickly has increased our application availability. We are able to bring up new containers when needed such as during our quarterly conferences, or during our once a year congress where we have 4-8x the amount of people accessing resources. The usage of the registry is limited and when we are utilizing our docker client, it requires a temporary token which has caused some issues along the way in terms of authentication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
