## Microsoft 365 F1 Reviews
  ### 1. MS Teams and Enterprise Security Make F1 a Strong Choice

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samyak H. | Senior System Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 F1?**

MS Teams is an important feature of this license. It helps a lot with meetings and with interpersonal as well as team-level communication. Enterprise-level security is also important for licenses like this, and F1 fulfills that need.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 F1?**

The tight 2GB mailbox storage limit is a bit of a downside (although my organization has extended limit). What also bothers me is that Word and Excel are only available in web-based versions.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 F1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The cost of this license allows all staff to access email and browse the intranet securely. It also makes it possible to broadcast updates and maintain transparent, on-time communication across the entire team.

  ### 2. Microsoft 365 F1: A Cost-Effective Suite for Shift and Field Employees

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stanley P. | Sr. Technical Recruiter, Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 F1?**

Frontline workers finally get AI help too. Even on shared or low-spec devices, they can hop into a web-based AI chat to get quick answers, instructions, or help with tasks. It just makes day-to-day work easier.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 F1?**

Simplify licensing rules. Managers often get confused about what’s included vs. what isn’t. Clearer packaging (without all the footnotes) would save a lot of headaches.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 F1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps frontline teams stay connected, access files quickly, and communicate easily—saving time and making daily work smoother.

  ### 3. Empowering Frontline Workers with Microsoft F1

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chintan P. | System and network engineer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 F1?**

Microsoft 365 F1 is a great option for customers who want to take advantage of Intune’s device management capabilities without the higher cost of Business Premium. While it doesn’t include the full desktop versions of Office apps, it still provides access to important tools like Teams and OneDrive, along with mobile and app management through Intune.
This is especially valuable for organizations with frontline workers, where device management and security are important, but you don’t necessarily need all the advanced features of a higher-tier plan. It’s a more affordable way to maintain control over devices and ensure compliance without breaking the bank on premium licenses.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 F1?**

One thing I dislike about Microsoft 365 F1 is the limitation on the desktop versions of Office apps.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 F1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft 365 F1 solves a major problem I was facing with onboarding customer devices to an MDM solution. My customers didn’t want to go with the Business Premium license due to the higher cost, and that left me searching for an affordable option that still provided essential device management features. With the F1 license, I’m able to leverage Intune’s capabilities for each user at a much lower price point. This allows me to enroll devices into Intune, ensuring proper management and security without needing to upgrade to Business Premium. Plus, the fact that Conditional Access can be enabled with F1 is a huge benefit, as it typically requires a higher-tier license. It’s been a game-changer for managing devices in a more cost-effective way.
