What do you like best about MicroSIP?

What I like best about MicroSIP is the ease of use. I set it up once and have had 0 issues with accounts dropping.

It also has a lot of configurable options to tailor to individual users preferences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MicroSIP?

What I dislike about MicroSIP is nothing, it really is a great little softphone tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MicroSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?

the problem that I am solving with MicroSIP is access to a good free softphone. Now that everyone is working from home, having a working softphone helps make that transition easier. The benefit I've realized is not having to purchase another VoIP phone for home to use when working from home! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MicroSIP?

Allows my team to automatically answer calls for our system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MicroSIP?

Will occasionally have sound connection issues, but it is an easy fix. Lately there have been connection issues where it starts saying 'connecting.." and won't allow a call through for ~25 seconds. Through my works program the account will come up but it doesn't automatically answer and the caller will hear me but I cannot hear them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MicroSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?

We take a high volume of calls every day and MicroSIP allows us to take them continuously and the caller ID feature is helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MicroSIP?

I have used many software in the past but this one seems to be reliable and lightweight software, very easy to use good sound quality. It's free to use so it is a big plus. Excellent documentation online to answer various questions about this software.

I really like the idea of getting rid of my desk phone and just using my laptop. Since we were converting to VoIP phones, that seemed like a reasonable idea.

Is a quick software and something really smooth and generally working fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MicroSIP?

Sometimes using this software seems like one of the works. Calls wouldn't come through--my phone simply wouldn't ring. Or I'd call someone and they couldn't hear me. In essence, my "desk phone" became so extremely unreliable that I would go into other people's offices to make phone calls and I let the rest of my team know they couldn't reach my by phone.
