Gone are the landline phones for us... we use the microsip phone on our laptops to call and receive calls, the best feeling ever and very convenient, it is the cheapest softphone you can get out there, this I can recommend anytime. you can set it up on your cell phone such that when you have closed your laptop you are still reachable on your phone. It's not easy to set up alone, you need the consultants from MicroSip to set it up for you, if it could move to visual calls too that could be great. but for now, am happy with the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is amazing how light the solution is, meaning you can download in less than 2 minutes, it is easy to use, I find it amazing that when you are on a call you can actually see if your internet connection is stale or not and it also allows to view the time that has passed on the call, on a previous softphone I use this was not possible. MicroSIP is very easy to use, almost like an actual phone. This software was suggested by my company's IT team when teleworking started due to Covid-19 as an alternative to our office lines, and so far, it works great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I dislike. The software does what it promises and fulfills its purpose. I am using it for everyday calls with clients now that I am not working at the office, and it works great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MicroSIP provides the opportunity to answer the desk phone in the office for mobile workers or employees who work remotely from time to time.
Some basic good features;
- Easy to install
- The operation screen is simple
- Easy to make or answer calls
- Easy to adjust microphone and speaker
- Makes you forget the habit of using a fixed desk phone
- Working speed is quite high Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although mobilizing the desktop phone is its main feature, the following aspects could also be improved;
- Phonebook is not smart, desk phone cannot transfer or synchronize phonebook. When using a desk phone and MicroSIP separately, it is necessary to note the most recent calls. The two devices are not communicating.
- MicroSIP cannot be activated when VPN is not working on company computers using firewalls. We cannot use MicroSIP when we have VPN connection problem. Or when we forget to turn on VPN, we cannot be informed of incoming calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
