System is reliable and functions day to day. After the initial setup, which was a frustrating and time consuming process, the system has run successfully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Abysmal support, I mean it's nearly impossible to get support for the system. Mitel migrated ticketing systems and did not respond to any tickets for about 2 weeks after install. Constant confusion on their end about licensing and features. One support person knocked our company offline for a couple hours, breaking our whole phone menu tree.
Project management is nonexistent and there is no accountability at higher levels of management. Support teams try but they clearly lack the training or tools to provide an adequate support response. System design is also convoluted, and it requires multiple management pages for each part of the system. The call center portion is a separate PBX which is bridged to the main PBX. It gets out of sync requiring service reboots.
UC Software is poor, soft-phone is unreliable. Chat service does not sync between devices. No iPad app for collaboration. Mitel offers no 2 factor authentication. MiTeam collaboration software is near impossible to get licensed for. Internal teams don't even know what it is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to see the "status" of someone's phone line as well if they are out of the office. Also, I like that I can right click on a contact's name and call or IM the coworker. The IM feature has been a lifesaver with quick communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were a quicker feature to record an out of office greeting. I need to change my out of office greeting often and it would be great to have a dashboard icon for frequently used features so I don't have to click through a series of settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can find contacts quickly and flawlessly. I don't have to remember dozens of extensions anymore! It is also great how I can check my voicemail from Outlook without having to put in my password on the phone itself. A minute here and there over time really adds up! I dislike the fact that the directory duplicates names if I have multiple numbers. It should only list the name once, have a default source to pick the number from, and give an additional menu from which to select additional numbers when necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What's not to love? I love that it's so easy to use, and even better now that I get my voicemails sent straight to my email! No more pressing replay 3 times in order to get all the info. There's nothing I dislike, but I would love to see transcription available in the future. That would be less note taking for me and easier for me to quickly grab details and connect with callers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being able to forward my phone and the number read as the company users is beyond helpful. This keeps my cell phone number safe. Securing my personal information is very important. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not being able to turn off the instant message. With all the various communication technology in the company, this is just one more application I have to check. You can move agents from one skill set to another en masse, the defaults restore once the agent logs out. There are custom calculations available for reporting, you can build your own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Outlook integration sometimes crashes either application. Not being able to customise out of office mode when outside of office hours. I.e set hours of operation. But it works when setting out of office in calendar of outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tends to disconnect from the server time to time, and only way to get it back is close out completely and restart the application on the client side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
