**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

Fantastic tool for creating several campaigns and even helps you publish them over multiple channels and track the status. It is a very intuitive and straightforward process for deploying ads. The platform allows you to target correct and genuine customers for your company. The integration and collaboration process is excellent for this system. Even the software is easy to use and handy to set up for everyone.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

The platform does not have features for making changes to the campaign or the advertisement published or submitted on social media. We can not edit the deployed ads.
The software sometimes disconnects with the integrated platforms due to server-down issues or poor internet problems.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BEing able to easily manage all the account's data and information in one place. Input from customers and organizations is stored on this device, and everything is safe and encrypted. Being able to publish ads over multiple channels for attractive more customers towards our organization. The software really benefitted in our companies sales and revenue.

Metadata.io has been instrumental in streamlinging our advertisting strategies and budgeting. Ana, Raul, and team are always willing to hop on a call with me to work through strategies, ideas, and troubleshooting. They are a fantastic partner!

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

The only issue I have with the platform is that you're unable to make any edits to a campaign or offer once live, even if its as simple as editing the text above an ad or editing the audience. Being able to make simple edits would save our team a lot of time!

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meatadata saves our team a lot of time and allow us to easily test creatives, audiences, and messaging.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

The best feature of Metadata is the time I save advertising across all platforms at once vs working in each individually. Typically, this would take me many hours and much more micro-managing. Metadata solves that problem.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

I don't have any significant complaints about the software. The reporting could be more visual, but the data itself is excellent.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metadata helps me test creative collateral, offers and audiences simultaneously. It optimizes against your goals and actively rotates ads based on performance. It takes a lot of the manual work out of testing ads.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

-Ability to run 1:1 display campaigns 
-Ability to leverage multiple intent sources to create audiences (G2, TrustRadius, Demandbase, and Qualified are what we're currently using)
-ABM paid search campaign functionality 
-Ability to launch multi-channel campaigns in one single view 
-Amazing CSM team that is super responsive and helpful on a daily basis (shoutout to Malika, Rosie and Raul!)

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

We aren't currently able to pull lead statuses (MQLs, SQOs, etc.) from SFDC into Metadata which would help our in-platform reporting, but I hear this functionality is coming!

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, we were unable to target by job title for display campaigns, so this functionality is huge for us knowing we are getting our ads in front of the right people. 

We are seeing much higher conversion rates through Lead Gen forms, and with Metadata's data enrichment we are now able to use fewer form fields while still getting all of information we need.

The time it takes to launch campaigns has decreased significantly thanks to Metadata.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

Metadata is a force multiplier. It makes creating and iterating upon digital advertising campaigns incredibly easy and a quick proces. The hands-on support I get from the team based on existing performance and my org's goals. They really want their customers to win.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

There are not a lot of downsides to working with Metadata. I do wish the web personalization had a higher confidence rate but I suspect those things will be optimized over time.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes iterating upon performance marketing a snap. I spend dramatically less time configuring and more time getting to measure and ideate.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

Metadata has been the most efficient platform for managing LinkedIn and Google ads all in one place. I can easily manage audiences, ads, creatives, offers, and more. The budget grouping allows me to control how much spend to allocate by campaigns, geos, and more. The best thing is I can see all of our results in the various reporting functionalities that Metadata offers to make quick adjustments on the fly. Also, the support team is AMAZING! They keep close contact with me in slack to flag critical items, review our performance on a monthly basis to provide recommendations and help brainstorm on how we can continue improving our paid social and search campaigns.  Metadata has been a gamechanger for me!

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

One thing that could be improved is the ability to edit live campaigns without having to relaunch but I know this is in the works. ;)

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metadata allows us to get richer insights into what is driving higher conversions for our campaigns. The ability to separate ads by experiments (ads, creatives, audiences, etc.) makes it 1,000 easier to diagnose where things are going wrong and where we need to keep our foot on the gas. We've seen our lead quality improve drastically with all the levers we can pull in the platform for audience targeting, alone.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

The testing capabilities of Metadata are fantastic. You can scale campaigns quickly across multiple channels, all while testing the creative, audience, or offer. The other major thing is being able to optimize campaign data based on CRM data for more efficient ROI.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

I primarily use Metadata for LinkedIn and Google. However, the way you set up campaigns is very different than the native experience, and not all functionalities of the native platform are available on Metadata. With that, the learning curve is steep, and the onboarding process took much longer than expected whenever we need to launch something new, it seems that we always need to get someone from the Metadata team involved.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scaling our paid ads program has been a challenge. Metadata lets us efficiently run creative tests and optimize important KPIs beyond cost. We haven't seen any major results yet, but I hope that will change soon.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

Metadata enables me, as the only digital marketer at my company, do the work of a full digital team.  My Customer Success Manager, James, is always available to help, from brainstorming to launching campaigns when I'm short on time. I consider the whole Metadata team an extended part of my team.

The platform is easy to use and launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns across multiple channels.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

They don't yet have all the reporting functionalities to map perfectly to how I think about allocating budgets and optimizations internally.  However, since they're a small, customer-focused company, they take feedback seriously and are constantly rolling out new product featured to address those types of things.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metadata allows me to launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, and Google more efficiently than I could have otherwise.  I've seen faster returns on ad spend because I can duplicate audiences and campaigns across channels and quickly iterate on tests that make those campaigns more effective.

One of the great features of this platform is that it enables you to launch multiple channels simultaneously in one view. Allowing and helping you to advertise and campaign over the data collected from CRM and other third-party marketing applications. Reports are regularly and accurately generated over all the campaigns and activities. Targeting more and more audiences towards your business and services through this online marketing tool.

Once the templates or campaigns are published over websites or social media, it does not allow changes to those files or drives. It is pretty frustrating.

Our marketing staff is using the software and are happy using it as all its features are time-saving and make the workflow easier. Easy to integrate and campaigns on several social media platforms. Saves time while managing all the data and advertisements.

The report view is pretty great. At a glance, you can see the performance of ads, target lists, platforms, etc., making it crazy easy to identify what's working and what's not. Also, the customer success team is STELLAR. Very hands-on, patient, and happy to show you the ropes. Big ole high 5 to our CSMs Lily and Alexis!

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

I'm relatively new to Metadata but have found the platform a bit difficult to learn. There are a lot of steps that need to be accomplished in a variety of portals before a campaign can be launched, which can be daunting. However, it's a powerful tool so it makes sense it takes a little practice to master.

Trying to get more content in front of our ICP so that we can build awareness and show the value of our product. Metadata makes it easy to test copy, contact lists, and ad designs to ensure you're creating ads that resonate with prospects and entices them to click.

The comprehensive and accessible reporting makes running paid ads so much easier. Instead of following a lead throughout multiple systems, a lead can be tracked in one place to keep the information consistent and easy to find.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

The integration process of connecting Metadata with Facebook/Meta is not the easiest process, but it's crucial to note this is due to the many rules Facebook has in place before a true connection can be established.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's not an easy task to run paid ads on a small team of people, there are a lot of considerations to take into account and it can become a full-time job. As someone with multiple different responsibilities, Metadata helps automate the ad creation and tracking process to avoid it taking up the full 8 hours in my work day.

There's nothing I dislike about the solution or the company.  However, they have a great roadmap and it's hard to wait for new features.

Metadata removes the fricition in managing and executing our paid media strategy.  We are able to activate on our media strategy faster and more cost efficiently to hit or exceed our goals.  We can now easily report across paid media in a single location and share with key stakeholders.  Metadata's success team, Hayden and Goncalo, have been instrumental in helping us get the most use out of the platform.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

1) Ability to leverage unlimited audiences including 3rd party intent feeds, and operationalize those B2B audiences in Facebook Ads (not possible natively)
2) Visibility into down-funnel metrics (MQL>SQL>$) even without perfect MarTech stack
3) Multi-variate optimization across multiple channels

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

Missing operators in Audience grouping to control AND vs OR when building complex audiences. IE: Industry Specific targeting on FB. The platform is modular in its design which is a must-have, but can be a bit overwhelming to stay on top of everything. Our CS manager (Rosie Cutrer) and technical advisor (Raul Moreira) are fantastic though and are always willing to step in and help. The support team is fantastic too.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Natively, Facebook is nearly useless in B2B with the exception of remarketing. Metadata lets us reach the right target ABM-style audience on Facebook and IG. 
Natively, you could get the job done in LinkedIn however you have to create and manage all your experiments manually.
Natively, both LinkedIn and Facebook deliver >50% hotmail/gmail email addresses. Metadata enriches every record to provide us with Work email which is 10x more valuable to our Marketing & Sales team. The actionability of leads is improved with Metadata.

I love the integration of the audience databases that are baked into the platform, and the approach to bringing all the campaign elements into one place. Smart and time-saving to bring it all together into one place.

Customer onboarding and success teams are dynamite, best in the business. Alexis was my CSM and she's outstanding among software reps. It's weird to report that we actually became pretty good friends in the months she helped us grow in the platform. It's that kind of company.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

I don't like that metadata makes campaign names a mess in the platforms. I wish standard naming conventions could be honored instead of the experiment names being so long and nonsensical

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time spent building and managing campaigns in each platform takes a LOT of time and it's the #1 reason I don't build as many campaigns natively in the platforms themselves. Metadata makes it easy to crank out lots of experiments quickly and it helps you thin them out automatically.

No major dislike. The usability was a bit nonintuitive when we first started but it has improved tremendously.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

Three things that stand out about Metadata:

1. The testing capabilities that are offered, specifically around multivariate testing
2. The data enrichment that Metadata provides allows us to improve the quality of our lead gen form data
3. The high level of one-to-one service we get from our CSM, James.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

There are a few UI/UX issues that come with Metadata as they are still altering and changing the platform. Some things we suggested have been updated, but others could use some improvement.

Another thing that can get frustrating is the inability to make slight tweaks to an ad campaign without fully duplicating it.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem is getting high-quality, low-cost leads. Metadata is solving this issue by providing data enrichment that allows us to require fewer form fields while still getting the same level of high-quality leads.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

With Metadata I can target the right people at the right companies at the right time. It is very easy to create audiences and campaigns to AB test and optimize results. The customer support team has been extremely responsive and supportive of our ABM efforts. Their integration with social media and programmatic vendors works very well. They also have a lot of reports and dashboards for us to understand what's happening on the campaigns in real-time.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

The UI could be improved to make it easy to self-manage campaigns, ads, and budgets.

**Recommendations to others considering Metadata.io:**

Metadata makes it very easy to advertise on different channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Google. However, depending on your industry and products, managing expectations and actual results depend on your marketing strategy. Having a very well-defined ideal customer profile, target account list and content is necessary to see results.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am optimizing the use of our limited budget; making sure the ads are being shown to companies with higher intent to buy our products. It also saves me time on managing campaigns with different vendors such as LinkedIn, Facebook and programmatic ads by having everything on one platform.

The best part is how everything comes together so nicely. From integrating all our tech stack to building audiences and launching campaigns across different channels - it really is as simple as it gets.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

There really isn't anything I dislike other than the pricing. It's a costly tool, but I do see its value. Hard to get a buy-in during recession years though. I hope having Metadata becomes the norm like having a CRM or Marketing Automation tool.

Huge time-saver. The ease of use and the all-in-one platform to run LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Ads from is a game-changer. Also, great reporting tools give visibility to performance across the board.
The cherry on top: lead enrichment after conversion.

Metadata is the engine of our advertising machine. The ability to build granular, account-based audiences and deploy them across our ad channels is critical to our advertising strategy. Integration, easy-of-use, and the performance Metadata drives makes it an uncuttable piece of our marketing budget. Bonus: Hayden is a top-notch CS professional and keeps the ship moving! bravo!

Metadata has been instrumental in helping us track performance for paid media. We've seen improved time to insights resulting in a 99% increase in efficiency. We've seen faster time to market as well. Before Metadata we could launch maybe 8 campaigns. With Metadata, we can launch 40 campaigns that's a 150% increase! We can see which assets are performing vs. which ones are not and allocate budget else to imapct the bottom line positively. We've also seen an increased ability to scale. We had 1 person running all paid campaigns and it was difficult to scale. Now we have 7 people running campaigns in Metadata allowing our paid leader to be more strategic across the board. That's a 600x increase in accessibility. 

Metadata is easy to use and very intuitive. It's quick to launch campaigns and duplicate across channels. You can see performance from impressions to clicks all the way to influenced opps, quantity and amount to triggered ops. It's been wonderful to really see performance across the board.

James Silvestri is the BEST customer success manager I have ever worked with! He is so kind and truly wants our business and campaigns to thrive. He provides valuable and strategic guidance and advice that has had a powerful impact on our bottom line. The best part is he is truly a great human being and so damn genuine! I'm so grateful that he is an extension of my team.

I love this platform so much. I don't have anything negative to say about it. I love that the Metadata team is always releasing new functionalities and features that make it easier for B2B marketers to be more strategic and easy to use.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without Metadata, both management and reporting were done at every single media platform independently (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and more) and very limited syncing between them. There is no communication or an automated way between these platforms. Pulling in full-funnel reporting was very difficult and non-existent. It also didn't allow our team to scale. It's difficult to train people to use various complex platforms across FB, LI, and Google. With Metadata, we've seen a 600x increase in accessibility. 

Full-funnel reporting used to take 5+ days and now it takes 2-3 minutes with Metadata. We can see which campaigns and assets are impacting our bottom line and it's a beautiful thing. We can tell exactly where our most qualified leads are coming from. That's very powerful and enables our team to be more strategic. 

Metadata has allowed us to move up the maturity model which is incredible. 

We've also seen a 50% increase in lead to MQL rate. We've seen an improved time to insights (98% increase in efficiency). Also seeing a much faster time to market (to be specific a 150% increase in campaign execution).

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

Metadata.io is one of the singular most powerful tools for B2B marketers available today. But yet, most are shifting away from paid budgets. Having built a couple successful paid programs, and one of them supercharged by Metadata, it seems the difficulty is getting executive/finance buy-in to the hard costs. B2B marketers have always had a hard time with an ad-centric budget. It's why they were the pioneers of email and SDR programs. But hiring people and ruining your domain health have their own intrinsic hard costs. Metadata.io expands my ability to execute on a high-value channel that is challenging to run natively, and brings many wonderful capabilities not otherwise possible - multivariate testing automation, opportunity/lifecycle-based targeting automation. Also most B2B performance marketers are only running paid social on LinkedIn, but Metadata.io's proprietary matching capabilities (last I heard it used 12 data vendors) allow it to draw a line between a decent percentage of personal emails and business emails, which in turn allows for the same high-fidelity business contact targeting (which we all love about LinkedIn) on Facebook, Quora, and Google Adwords. 

Using Google Adwords for B2B has - until now - been only through keyword-driven search campaigns. Customer match lists didn't work because Google can really only operate with personal emails but can't match business emails. Metadata.io is changing that with its new customer match integration with Google, truly first-of-its-kind.

As you can see I'm a big fan, but not without reason. The tech is top-notch and they're security experts. If you're familiar with B2B paid then you know that at least 2 of the things I mentioned above were first-of-its-kind innovations. Since we've all discovered paid display can't really drive ROI for B2B, no matter how much 6sense and DemandBase want to convince us otherwise, we've either dropped paid entirely or shifted our budget to paid social. Stage-based targeting automation and matched audiences on Adwords are both Metadata-ONLY capabilities.

And using these - and the automated multivariate testing (the only alternative I've seen for this was Amplero, and their hugely expensive and sophisticated model led to their collapse a couple years back) - I was able to turn LinkedIn ads into the 2nd-highest driver of new opportunities at Convoy, right behind SDR outbound. 

But its value extends to existing customers and retargeting as well, given the integrations with Hubspot, Marketo and Salesforce, that allow for targeting based off of all results in a certain Salesforce report, for instance.

Oh and you can preview your matched audiences too, which is incredibly valuable for ensuring your targeting is correct.

The native reporting features also give insight into attribution in a way that most existing reporting cannot. You can see impact on specific accounts/companies by impressions, clicks as well as leads and opportunities.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

It is a complex tool, but they overcome this with very reasonably-priced account/campaign management services. If anything I just wish their roadmap was fulfilled sooner (see above). You do occasionally have to wait a day or two to match audiences. Also they've been improving the email match rates which for a while were a little below LinkedIn's native match rates.

If you're running paid social at all, you absolutely need this tool. Stop paid display, divert here.

They go above and beyond to make sure you get the most out of running ads on the platform. There are times when I'm using Metadata several times a day and I get logged out. It would be helpful to stay logged in longer, but I think this is coming. There are also some small annoyances like character count in titles and the ability to use symbols when naming campaigns. The ability to launch campaigns simultaneously across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Ads is incredible. It saves countless hours of duplicitous work and provides unmatched visibility into the best-performing channels. Using a platform that is built with a testing first mindset enables us to consistently and efficiently A/B test to find what works and doesn't work with our ICP. The integrations with SFDC, Hubspot, G2, etc make it effortless for us to build ABM audiences and target different prospects at different stages of their buying journey. Metadata is the first advertising platform to take a full-funnel approach to B2B marketing and gives us visibility into what drives true MQLs and pipeline, it's unlike any other product on the market.

The customer support team has also been a game-changer. Unlike LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Ads reps who seem to blindly push you to spend more money on their platforms, Metadata's customer success team and performance marketers take time to analyze and provide useful feedback and optimizations to our campaigns. Not only does the team answer questions almost immediately, but whenever a bug arises in the platform the support team is quick to respond and solve the issue.

Making edits to live campaigns is laborious and requires you to relaunch everything, which is tedious and impacts performance and some reporting capabilities are limited and not very flexible. The platform is generally user-friendly, however, some of the functionalities are tedious and could be more user-friendly.

Metadata minimizes duplicitous work when launching multiple campaigns across different channels and provides a single cross-channel view for reporting. Doing monthly reporting with Metadata has saved me hours of manual work in social platforms and exporting excel spreadsheets. The ability to pause underperforming ads and manage monthly budgets saves me so much time analyzing data. Building, managing, and reporting on account lists is also much easier with Metadata. While we won't have a specific ABM tool at the moment, Metadata fulfills a lot of what we would need from an advertising standpoint. Although the reporting capabilities are lacking somewhat, I know improvements are on their roadmap.

Overwhelmed and inundated with marketing tools, ad channels, and data to look after? Metadata solves this by tying it all together in one campaign management, experimentation, optimization, and measurement engine. We were able to connect multiple campaign channels, our marketing automation platform, and sales CRM in a centralized way that allowed for rapid experimentation and iteration that tied everything back to revenue — the real value in Metadata is evaluating your campaigns and channels against the bottom line and not top-of-funnel vanity metrics. Plus, the customer success team was phenomenal over the course of our engagement.

The company and the platform are still in a rapid growth mode so bugs surface and new feature and function releases create some congestion and surprise inside the tool from time to time. But these are growing pains and good problems.

Audience building is great and very easy to use. Very helpful and responsive account rep / ad ops teams. Integrates well with Marketo and SFDC, and other MarTech stack tools. Reporting is great with custom dimensions and stages.

The annual renewal process is difficult every year since platform costs can become cost-prohibitive when native ad platforms are essentially free. Also lots of overlap with other martech stack tools such as rollworks and 6sense.

For those reading this, I’m going to ask that you take a seat. Perhaps, even a gulp of water as you’re going to need to be comfortable and hydrated reading the best review of the best campaign automation platform that exists within the B2B space.

If you’re not using Metadata, then you probably still fax your prospects. Does listening to Pearl Jam on the weekend via your walkman & wired headphones hit home? Seems to me, that this type of person must still consider a phone book as a primary strategy for new customer acquisition. 

Be better folks. Metadata automates the things that you think should be automated while allowing you to plan bigger, bolder and further out. Why hire another 3 bodies with “campaign” something or other in their titles when you can have data and AI making mathematical decisions for you - at scale? You still need great people but, perhaps, the most creative, strategic, and visionary folks that feed Metadata their ideas.

Customer service you ask? You can buy packages that offer guidance, a dedicated Slack channel (for my friends that still fax, we’ll discuss what Slack is at a later time), and a strategy for campaign creation. I’ve been working with Maz, Baily, and Ana…and they feel like an extension of my team.

If you haven’t gotten it by now, our team loves Metadata. If there’s one thing that you should do today, hit that “Book a Demo” button.

I will say that purchasing Metadata does come with one negative connotation. The platform may weasel its way in-between time with your significant other. Not that you’ll be doing “more work” within the platform, just more-so spending time in fascination with all the data that you have at your fingertips.

We have a small and lean time here. The best feature is the managed services to help with onboarding and managing the campaigns. James Silvestri has been a great guide and asset to my marketing operations. As I am building out our digital marketing programs and strategy, James has been there for me every week, helping me get campaigns live, showing me the capabilities, and growing our pipeline.

I do not have any dislikes so far. There are a few small learning curves, but besides that, the platform is very capable. I had hoped they would have Google Ads as well, and luckily after using the platform for a quarter, they are now adding Google Search Ads into the platform so I can now manage all my paid media tactics in one hub.

Metadata has been a lifesaver in automating our digital demand strategy. Previously, our paid media lived in native platforms, leaving me to individually track data and convert it all into a single spreadsheet to make sense of it. Now, I can see everything in one place and have the option to filter my metrics to show exactly what I need. I love how easy the tool is to use to track multivariate performance. I have total visibility into what's working and what's not - and the ability to change it in a timely and efficient manner. The Metadata support team is also top-notch! James Silvestri has been my rep for the duration of our contract and I am always impressed with his knowledge and suggestions to improve our program.

The only thing that was tricky for me was figuring out the most efficient way to build our audiences so that they bring in more qualified leads. **What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

I've used Metadata in my current role and have been very impressed with the support we receive from their team. They're always quick to answer any questions, explore new campaign ideas and offer guidance around trends, organization and reporting. They partner with us to make sure we're getting the most out of our ads running on the platform, and it's very easy to get an all-up view of our campaign performance across multiple social channels.

There's nothing that I dislike at this time.

Keeping our campaigns organized in one place, with an easy way to report on performance and key KPIs.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

Take all the frustrating, opaque, confusing, and annoying things about digital B2B marketing write them on a piece of paper, and then set it on fire. 
Today is the first day of the rest of your marketing life and let me tell you it's glorious.

Metadata solved the most unsolvable challenges of this marketing leader's generation: finding and targeting B2B buyers, serving content to them across personal and professional channels (surprise! they're multifaceted humans), and REAL pinpoint precise conversion attribution.  I have been dreaming about this capability, visibility, and actionability for 20 years. 

No more guessing, no more wasting 50k on campaigns that steal your soul and run your budget, Metadata gives you the freedom to test with reckless abandon. With LinkedIn (but better) targeting and a nurture-style approach to warming your hand-selected target leads and accounts up, in the weeks since launch we are already seeing demo requests from ICP accounts in volumes we've never been able to drive before. 

The world of PPC and digital spend changes daily, do yourself a favor and get Metadata so you can focus on the fun stuff. My only gripe is that I didn't have this at my last 2 companies.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In order to drive lead generation for my business, I have to be sure I am finding the right buyer persona and that they are currently on supported technology, before Metadata this was messy and nearly impossible. We wasted spend on non-serviceable accounts and peripheral personas with no purchasing power. We now have the ability to target in a way we never thought imaginable and are started seeing an increase in the ROI we get from digital spend on day one.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

It's easy to upload and manage multiple audiences and target account lists to ad platforms.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

After $250k in ad spend and multiple experts trying to debug Metadata's email match rates, the best we've been able to achieve is a 6% match on Facebook.  It's a bit better than we'd get by going straight to the platform (all our our emails are verified business domains), but not at all worth the cost of the platform.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We brought on Metadata primarily to help us scale by reaching business buyers on Facebook.  We were sold on their ability to match business and person email addresses and thought this tool would help us unlock incremental performance.

Given all the rave reviews, I thought this was a no-brainer, but it turned out to be a complete waste of time and money.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

Metadata is great to run our campaigns on multiple channels at once. We can fully optimise our campaigns in one place, have an quick overview of performance and quickly deep dive into the numbers.
There are key targeting capabilities and integrations which make our life easier - testing intent, firmographic and technographic audiences has helped performance.
Our customer success team is so helpful, always quick to answer any questions, and really takes the time to build a human, friendly connection and relationship with us. They feel like an extension of our team, rather than a vendor. Special shoutout to Ana Marturet who's an absolute gem to work with.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

The reporting capability could be improved, I find it hard to export the data I need, and there's no way for me to get a daily view of performance.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we're a small team, Metadata helps us with day to day optimisation and keep the pacing on target. We need these extra pairs of hands to help us fully optimise our spend and make the most of our investment. They're always open and receptive to our suggestions and will make sure our targets are hit.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

The platform is very easy to use and helps our small team get a lot done in less time than if we were running ads natively. 

The ability to unlock B2B targeting in Facebook has been huge for us. Our spend is much more efficient and it has enabled us to unlock an entirely  new channel.

Above all, the support the team give is first class. Joe, our CSM, is complete legend. He knows the platform and digital marketing extremely well has been great in helping us get up to speed and continue to expand how we use the platform.

The brand awareness campaign reporting could be better.
Building audiences can be complex - there are multiple ways of doing very similar things

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

Our Deman Gen team is often short on resources, and having Metadata operate as an extension of our team is extremely helpful (shout out to @Joseph Hill). It makes my job easier to activate across one platform that runs across multiple channels (LI & FB specifically). Their process-oriented approach is very objective and concise and it helps keep things very organized when we're constantly testing numerous audiences, content, and ad formats.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

That platform itself can be tricky and has some nuances to get used to for a first-time user. The reporting dashboard has some limitations and I've run across a few issues where data is missing for certain periods of times. Our account team does a good job at resolving the issues fairly quickly though.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to identify that certain content and ad formats do not drive quality leads on the back-end. By testing and identifying these optimization points, we've been able to adjust our strategy and content to be more appropriate for our audiences at certain funnel levels.

I appreciate how responsive and engaged the customer success team is. We meet bi-weekly with our customer success manager to check in and monitor progress on all our running campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

Sometimes the product is overly confusing to use or has some glitches in reporting. This can make it challenging to monitor campaigns, but that is why it is so helpful to have the customer success manager as a guide to make sure the campaigns are getting the right attention.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metadata helps us target our ads and optimize for the highest performing ads without having to hire anyone additional. They also implement the social ads so that our team does not have to spend time completing that task. All of this saves our team time and helps us keep our spend under budget, while still running highly effective campaigns that create qualified leads.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

The ability to improve Facebook targeting capabilities (ABM, expanded titles, etc.) is great. I also like the ability to tie in G2/SFDC data in "real-time" to have more up-to-date retargeting campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

I think the data enrichment tool is lacking and/or isn't very helpful when GDPR regulations require marketing to the email address that was used in the original form fill. Unless you want to do a 1-1 connection immediately, which isn't usually how prospects go through the funnel. Making changes to the campaigns is laborious and causes you to relaunch everything, which is a pain and impacts performance. The targeting capabilities don't drive the lead quality that you would hope. While it's nice to be able to add ABM layering in Facebook, I haven't seen any increase in valuable leads, and low-quality leads still come in more times than not.

**Recommendations to others considering Metadata.io:**

I think Metadata makes a lot of sense for companies that have 1 of 2 things. 1.) They REALLY understand who their audience is, or it's really broad, so getting a specific ICP isn't necessary (large consumer brands), and they have a ton of money to use on testing. This allows users to benefit from the robust ad testing features, which are predicated on multiple offers/assets/creative, but require a ton of budget. 2.) The company looking to use Metadata doesn't have Paid Social experience and would like things to run on "auto-pilot". For teams that understand the nuance of Paid Social, you lose some of the benefits that Metadata has to offer. Similar to how an experienced web developer wouldn't use Squarespace to create their website.

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We attempted to solve our lead quality issue on social via Metadata (multiple clients have tried) and we've yet to see real impact. The one benefit we have had is targeting TALs on Facebook, so at least we're in front of the right people. But since the lead quality is still really poor, we're only using that for awareness campaigns. We then retarget them via LinkedIn (natively) and filter out the low-value leads.

**What do you like best about Metadata.io?**

The team support from metadata.io is fantastic and prompt. They always help me to utilize my budget to the fullest and make recommendations on campaigns we run. Once a campaign is up I have full confidence I can set it and forget it - they have tools that monitor our spend and I know the team is assisting as well. They are always putting a revenue amount into our campaigns and assist with presentations on performance to show the value of our ads. The dashboard is user-friendly and easy to navigate. We are able to test several ads and turn the budget on or off based nonperformance quickly and easily. This can be automated just in case you don't want to check it.  The was the missing piece to our ABM strategy!

**What do you dislike about Metadata.io?**

I would like to stay logged in! I visit this page more than once a day and have to log back in each time. I do believe a new feature is coming to fix this - so fingers crossed!

**What problems is Metadata.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to complete our ABM strategy and utilize buyer intent data through integration with HubSpot. We realized we can support cold leads and already nurtured sales leads with material from every piece of the sales funnel. Most importantly, the retargeting piece was more that we expected and we even stopped using our other platform this one was so great!
