**What do you like best about MessageGears Platform?**

I love our customer success manager, and the entire MessageGears team is fantastic to work with and super helpful. They are incredibly responsive and proactive in helping us to overcome any issues, keeping all of our projects on the rails. I also love that we can create incredibly targeted campaigns that are data-backed. The MG team was very hands-on during migration to ensure everything went smoothly.

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

The platform can be overly technical and the UI isn't the most intuitive I have used. We have an internal data team to help us support our program, but it would potentially be more difficult for just higher level marketers.

**What problems is MessageGears Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The MessageGears Platform ensures data access and creates targeted, data-backed campaigns. It's a data-forward platform that fits our needs better than traditional ESPs.

The multiple segmentation options, different reports view, easy to use and execution app notifications and pushes in a tight marketing calendar, AI to send the best timing to interact with users, overall easy to implement and integrate with other platforms, among many others

Hard to say, I guess the lack of email capabilities when we started, but now with MessagesGears their platform is much more robust.

**What do you like best about MessageGears Platform?**

I love that it keeps our customer data in our own systems and behind our firewalls. Enhanced security and privacy are huge factors for us. It also allows greater flexibility with that data - we can integrate it with our existing data architecture. The dynamic content and personalization options are also huge benefits for us.

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

Most of the issues we have aren't necessarily the fault of MessageGears as a platform itself but rather our implementation or the way we've set it up. Having all the connections to internal infrastructure can be a double-edged sword.

**What problems is MessageGears Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MessageGears helps with the challenge of creating personalized and effective campaigns, ensuring deliverability, managing large volumes of data, and tracking campaign performance. By providing a platform for dynamic content capabilities, and robust reporting and analytics features, MessageGears helps us overcome these challenges and create more effective campaigns for us that drive results.

That it's a completely different type of ESP. I like how it layers directly on top of our data and allows us to utilize every aspect of it. Whenever we have had any issues the team is extremely fast to respond.

There's a little more SQL involved than I initially expected, I was sold on more of the drag and drop and "for the marketer not developer" type stuff.

The customer service and team we work with are truly the best. Very attentive, very eager to assist and have been the best part of working with them - from the sales team to the account team.

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

It's not as much of a dislike and more of an opportunity - the UI is not as 'marketer'  friendly as some of the other UIs I've seen. It's very easy for our IT team to get into the tool and use - a little less intuitive for marketers without a lot of technical background.

We are solving data problems - being able to own and keep all of our data has been really efficient for our team.

Product itself and ability to expand/incorporate new features based on the client requirement. 

Support Staff is awesome and response time is very fast. Always available for working session on the questions, issues, account setup and new feature onboarding.

Initially the company i worked for is one of big and new client for MessageGear and at the time, MessageGears is new in the market. so needed a good documentation and over the time it has been improved great.

**What problems is MessageGears Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transparency with End-to-End system. Like the status, efficiency and feed back loop. with earlier vendor, we were on the dark side on what's happening with delivery, success rate and whther we are missing feedback data, etc. with MessageGears, that problem was gone as we have direct visibility into all of these monitoring and processing feedback data in real time. it also utilizes latest technologies, which makes client easier to work with.

The real-time syncing of recipients is so much more advanced than having to upload a list and watch it get out of sync as it uploads.

It used to be templates and some bugs with that area, but much has been corrected.

The platform is very easy to use. Campaigns can be set up and sent in a matter of minutes, and the dashboard provides easy to use and easy to explain analytics. 
The Swrve team are extremely helpful and are very invested in your success with their product.

Estimated audiences for specific campaigns could be improved by refreshing the estimate after each sent campaign to take into account users that have uninstalled in the market.

**What do you like best about MessageGears Platform?**

Analytics and event management - Also one of the most powerful type of message i've ever used in my professional career is the Conversation.

I like the variety of options, the fullness of the interconnectivity, and the options for your outbound campaigns according to the many different marketing channels. It works well internationally, so it's flexible per client based on the type of English you need to use (and I'm certain other languages will prove it's flexibility as well).

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

There is not much I dislike, but if I had to choose something it would be that at times the system can be slow when doing complicated segments. The basic reporting is OK but could use some improvement. I would like to have the exact person who clicked on a particular push. Not an aggregated %

The ease of use for internal user is amazing. We where live with the integration and after few weeks we where autonomous  in using

I do really suggest of using it because i've nver user a simple interface like swrve and also it gives you the opportunity to leverage on several features to increare your kpi

One of the things i've mostly appreciated is the support we have received in every step of our journey: from the integration to the exprtise that the team has shown us when having issues.

I'm solving the retention-1 kpi issue we had before using Swrve. 
People where using the app just once and after 30 days. thanks to swrve we have increased the number of recurring users and also owe have increased the number and % of people with digital company within our company.

Swrve makes it easy to create push campaigns that aren't boring and cliche. It helps deliver an unique touch to customers which creates the beginning of a relationship right from the get go. With customisation and survey creator, it helps you engage with customers a whole lot easier and see more details stats of mobile usage.

It can take time to make it more personal to your needs and can require a lot of monitoring. Though this is obvious, it has a great interface and is worth investing the time into.

Swrve may or may not be the product for you, but it's worth checking out the demo and other resources as it could really boost your customer relationship.

It is helping see mobile interactions a lot clearing. So many people use mobile devices it can be hard to keep track of certain statistics. This is where Swrve helps.

**What do you like best about MessageGears Platform?**

SWRVE gave Hopster the ability to communicate more effectively the changes going on within the app to both Parents and kids through push, and in-app messaging with a positive impact on awareness, app engagement, and subscriber retention. Secondly, the resource testing has enabled Hopster to improve the on-boarding experience for new and existing users with minimal development 
A feature which I love as a marketer but didn’t get a chance to implement was the Facebook Ads and on-boarding integration - ensuring the ads seen by a user matches with the messaging in the on boarding.

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

Having to manage two campaign profiles for iOS and Android separately which means duplicating everything across both. Though this is on SWRVE’s roadmap to integrated.

**Recommendations to others considering MessageGears Platform:**

Involve your developers as early as possible so that they can see the possibilities of leveraging SWRVE beyond just Messaging and simple A/B testing. It’s a great tool to enable/disable new features and soft launch new features to a small subset of users, or disable features if they are the leading cause of a crash not discovered during QA.

**What problems is MessageGears Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We leverage SWRVE to address three main issues. 1) Decrease the drop of rate during first user on-boarding 2) Keep the parents involved in the app, as we lost their engagement once handed off to kids, to increase awareness of app changes, and overall engagement 3) A/B test new features and in some cases soft-launch them to sub-set of users

Overal we saw a 20% improvement in conversion rate and retention through on-boarding improvement and the implementation of the in-app messaging center (feature known as ‘inbox’)

Really easy interface, makes setting up push and in app messaging a simple task.

The team we've worked with over the past couple of years have been super helpful and really great at explaining how we can go about getting what we need out of the platform.

Some message limitations (ie scrolling back and forth through in-app messaging)

Big push on automated journeys across our apps in order to increase user retention. This has come as a result of realising the benefits and importance of keeping users engaged and returning to the apps.

Message Gears provide a plethora of tools and features which help us manage and automate email delivery.  This is taken a lot of overhead out of our daily work as we don't have to maintain our own email servers and template management tool.

Their main interface application cannot autoscale, so we are still facing challenges around high volume sends.

MessageGears are our primary email service provider. they also provide real-time analytical data for all our deliveries.

We stated using Swrve for push notifications, but now we use the in-app messages even more.  Swrve's support has been very quick to respond to our requests for bug fixes or additional features.

There have been a couple of bugs that got in our way, but they have always been fixed quickly -- sometimes even before we reported them.

Swrve was critical in being able to contact and reach our player base quickly and effectively with in-app messaging solutions!

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

Swrve does everything is says it does - I never hit any "wishlist items" that I had hoped would be included and weren't already. Ultimately, the price is a bit steep but if you want to avoid any work building and integrating a solution like this, it's worth it.

Building an in-app messaging solution for our game has always been daunting and being able to utilize Swrve to reach our players quickly with messages that help direct within and outside of the mobile experience has been critical.

My favorite feature of this software is the real-time customer data allowing our company to make marketing changes on the go to adapt to what our customers need.

In addition, Swrve is very robust reaching out to millions of customers within days generating a very rich data set that can be used to make further marketing changes.

This is one of the best software I used for marketing to increase customer retention.

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

The software itself is not very user friendly and it is hard to navigate through it. Also, I have seen some issues with SDK updates but this feature appears to be improving.

It takes sometime to get use to software so please give yourself plenty of time to play around with he platform before using it for real.

**What do you like best about MessageGears Platform?**

Swrve's audience segmenting tools are great and allow users to get very granular when targeting an audience.

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

Swrve has a lot of quirks around the UI. For example, when inputting payload parameters in the behavior filters and you enter an invalid parameter Swrve will alert you, but it does not do this when inputting user properties in the user profile filters. I have also have some frustration around the fact that users are not able target messages around other messages unless they are already live and that you cannot target across different message types. IE - Show this in-app message only if a user has received that push notification. 

**What problems is MessageGears Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As our app is still new in its lifecycle, some of the features are still in an MVP status and being built out, Swrve allows to easily work around this to target specific audiences.

Swrve makes it easy to create campaigns. It provides a unique touch to customers that creates the beginning of a relationship from the beginning. With the personalization and the creator of the survey, it helps you to get involved with customers much more easily and see more detailed statistics of mobile use. 

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

The only thing that bothers me is that it often requires a lot of monitoring that was not expected and this is somewhat cumbersome and takes time. 

**Recommendations to others considering MessageGears Platform:**

Really his attention is nice that one feels that he knows about it all his life. For this reason I recommend it since you will feel confident and perform a relaxed job.  Also definitely, it is a better way to work with A / B tests than other tools in the market.

Managing our campaigns and monitoring our A/B tests through the web dashboard is really easy and we struggle way less with setting up campaigns than with other tools we've tested.

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

The technical integration can be a bit tricky and SDK updates can be a struggle at times, especially with compatibility issues with other SDKs we're using.

We're able to determine what are the best changes we can put in our app through A/B testing such changes. We're also getting more engagement out of our users thanks to the messaging (both PUSH and in app) features of swrve.

The price can be a lot from an Opex standpoint, but the ROI kicks in very quickly. Also, the analytics piece could be more robust.

What I like best about Message Gears would be the ability to go in and edit HTML very easily rather being stuck with the drag and drop functionality. This is very important because the actual drag and drop functionality causes the email to have bugs in different email clients. 

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

The HTML editor itself is extremely irritating, so I have to copy the code into another program to edit and then replace the code in the Message Gears editor. Also, the insights are not as robust as our Hubspot platform. It would be nice if we could see more compelling data such as that. It would also be nice to see the emails running as a campaign. In turn, it would be nice to be able to track the users actions upon receiving the email and to be able to learn more information about who they are and where they are. 

**Recommendations to others considering MessageGears Platform:**

If message gears were able to become a more robust tool such as Hubspot, then it would be a more compelling tool to continue to work in.

**What problems is MessageGears Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need automated transactional emails that send to users based on a completed activity. Unfortunately, most, if not all, go to spam. Support from Message Gears is not super helpful.

A unique product that is among few software's that provides email marketing services that combined the power/security of on-premise capabilities with efficiency and most importantly scalability of consistent cloud delivery. How amazing is that? Not to mention the software is very user-friendly with a *reliable* support staff at your assistance. 

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

Intended for large-scale companies. As a small company, we were deterred from our targeted audience and quickly tried to reach other audiences. Didn't turn out so well, ended up wasting more time instead of targeting our niche market.

**Recommendations to others considering MessageGears Platform:**

Specifically built for marketers who are data driven at a large scale. It is one of the most promising software's on the market. Side note, do not get if you are a startup or small business.

Management wanted to combine data integration, security, and marketing automation at a large scale. Ideally were seeking to expand audience, however this wasn't the case. While this was mainly a managerial decision instead of a software deficiency.

Expedia OCC team uses messagegears as their email delivery service. From the time I have started working with MG, my experience has been great! They provide a lot of support, and their response time and knowledge breadth are very good!

I would really like to see single sign on implemented for expedia, as right now, i have to greate a new account with a different email id for each and every accelerator instance i have to login to.

We use MG as our email delivery service. Any email we have to send out to customers, it goes through message gears. One huge benefit of working with them is the excellent support, and the response data we get from them every hour. That helps us a lot to determine which emails have been sent and which have been not.

MessageGears has enabled us to send more email more efficiently and more effectively than anyone else in our space. As an email marketing agency, we deal with clients who are either completely unable to deliver their own email on an enterprise scale, or are only able to achieve mediocre deliverability. Many of our competitors struggle with the same problem. With the flexibility and insights that MessageGears makes available, we have a huge leg up.

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

MessageGears requires a substantial learning curve on the back end, and is not a turnkey solution (certainly not one that we could give to a client and let them run with it). There are certain situations where we would like to make a more turnkey model available to less technologically savvy users, but for our team internally -- using it every day -- it is powerful and effective.

**What problems is MessageGears Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We deliver more email than any of our competitors, and achieve far better inboxing and engagement than any of our competitors, thanks to the valuable and powerful information we get and utilize in MessageGears. It has enabled us to open entire new product lines for our clients, growing whole new sectors of the company from scratch.

MessageGears customer service is great! They are super responsive, helpful, go above and beyond to do what they can to meet our needs.  They are also working hard at improving the service and bringing in new features that will help us even more.

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

Can't schedule emails in user's time zone and can't localize email templates for language. We are a global company and offer 12 languages, if we wanted to format emails properly per language and send them to the whole world, that would end up being 36 total marketing campaigns.  We would need to report on those 36 campaigns individually, even though it would actually be one campaign.  This is extra difficult because there is no report builder to report on multiple emails at once, which is problematic for us because we have to send three campaigns for each campaign so that they send at semi appropriate times (because there is no feature allowing us to send emails in the user's time zone).

**Recommendations to others considering MessageGears Platform:**

MessageGears is a useful product that is cost effective.  Its localization options are limited and that is the main drawback.  Not being able to deliver emails in a user's time zone, and not being able to localize formatting and links for different regions or languages easily are our biggest pain points.

**What problems is MessageGears Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use MessageGears to email the user base for one of our fitness apps.  It is a very cost effective option for us and we can do much of what need with it.  The MessageGears team is the biggest benefit to this product, they are very responsive and welcome our feedback.  Email marketing has been an important tool for our app's success.

What I like most about MessageGears is how easy it is to design custom HTML email templates, duplicate, schedule, and send them.

**What do you dislike about MessageGears Platform?**

The thing I dislike most about MessageGears is the lack of reporting features for marketing emails. It would be great if there was more of a function to look at the results of your email in a really specific way. Who opened, clicked, bounced, etc. Most email marketing softwares have this feature, which is why I think MessageGears is lacking in this department. 

**Recommendations to others considering MessageGears Platform:**

I would recommend this product moreso for mass amounts of transactional emails. The marketing email tools are getting there, but still lack the reporting features needed to make this product my preferred method for marketing emails.

Sending a mass amount of emails at once. We've realized MessageGears can handle the sending of thousands of emails much better than many other email marketing softwares.

Use the full tool.  Make sure you follow email marketing laws and don't buy lists.  Blacklists do not help your situation so be sure to follow MessageGears recommendations.

MessageGears provides some good data for seeing send performance--initially--as well as checking on sends that were not able to complete.

Primarily that individual sends--to one person--are not accessible until the next day. So if a send didn't go out and I'm trying to check the logs in MG, I can't necessarily see what happened.

Typically checking on send performance or for errors in sends that didn't go out. Usually it has helped me gain info to take back to the individual sending the email so they can make adjustments to the send for optimization or fixing errors.
