The matching algorithm in MentorCity dosen't give me much confidence. In fact, I am not quite sure if I might find the needed mentor I am looking for. I’ve realized that the mentors suggested can sometimes not meet the target I’ve set for myself or have the right expertise to help me. The first time I know about mentorcity is when I was applying for an Express entry immigration profile to CANADA, However, when searching a lot about how to work as an engineer there, some of the official websites said that I need prior experience in CANADA which is impossible for me since I never went there. But, this official website sends me pdf tips and guidelines about how to make an experience without being in Canada, then I find out mentor city among several ways to do so. the thing I Like the best is the discussion groups where you can speak and engage with many people, most of them are successful immigrants. I really dislike that some of the mentors are not replying to your messages and ignoring them. For example, I sent two massages for two successful mentors and they have neglected my massage. And one of them was an immigrant from my country which will really help me a lot. But it was disappointed to neglect my massage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have not discovered anything I dislike about MentorCity yet. It's a massive improvement from manually administering mentor programs. One improvement I would like to see is the ability to integrate appointments scheduled in MentorCity with the individual's Zoom, Teams, Google account in order to include a meeting link. Wish it had a private chat room to invite mentees to meet at a specific time (not Skype). It would be great to be able to "chat" in a space and set up that type of mentoring meeting without being in a public chat room. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
