What do you like best about Mendix?

The current focus of Mendix seems to be on new features instead of software stability. The current release cycle is intoducing new versions on a regular basis, but these also include bugs quite regularly. What do you like best about Mendix?

I enjoy the rapid development mendix allows, the ability to get a site up and running with not having to write any of the boiler plate code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mendix?

Creating a custom layout or concept sometimes is not very straight forward. Also certain business logic which could be easily written in code will take a significant amount of effort to accomplish using a mendix microflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Mendix?

Mendix provides a quick solution to build apps and let you preview your application from the start. It's a great way to show your progress to the client each time you make changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mendix?

For some companies, the price is a big obstacle. But the one who makes the decision, quickly knows that it was all worth it.

Also, the default design of the elements is workable, but a bit stale. To create amazing templates it requires some knowledge of HTML, CSS or SASS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Mendix?

The speed of development in Mendix is incredible. Espcially startup of a project is done quickly. If you are using Mendix Cloud hosting, the CI is up-to-speed within minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At the moment publishing of REST services is not a native functionality. Custom Java modules are required. Additionally, webservice versioning is not supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
