Their products are fantastic and extremely easy to use, streamlining learning, credentialing, accreditation and compliance efficiencies. Automation and tracking with Medtrainer save time and material, keeping things organized for administrators, RN managers, and other corporate leaders. **What do you dislike about MedTrainer?** I have nothing negative to say about Medtrainer and its products. I would love to see more products from them to help the healthcare space. **What problems is MedTrainer solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using their learning platform extensively and cannot manage without it on paper. All our learning and training initiatives are streamlined and able to run analytics and comply with regulatory compliance. But, to lie about progress is disgusting, each insurance panel verified that this company has not called or initiated a provider enrollment application in 9 months. **What problems is MedTrainer solving and how is that benefiting you?** They lack resolving issues and cannot provide any proof or progress in 9 months and with charger $3750 since November. In speaking with the owner of MedTrainer, it is very clear that he views integrity the same as we do. I have worked in credentialing for 5 years and credential for multiple states - this software offers a variety of tools that aid in streamlining the credentialing process. This program is easy to navigate and the reporting tool allows you to create documents that give you an "at a glance" reference, which is very useful. I would recommend this product to both small and large companies, as it caters to both. **What do you dislike about MedTrainer?** Communication from the staff was lacking in the beginning, but improved after team meetings. **What problems is MedTrainer solving and how is that benefiting you?** Communication issues and software capabilities, but the staff did a very good job with reconciliation. ### 12. Mel is probably the very best trainer I have had the pleasure to work with in 15 years of Health Care application experience. Medtrainer staff doesn't set things up and drop you, they hold your hand through the entire process. **What do you dislike about MedTrainer?** There is not a lot to dislike. You can add your own training videos, add your own staff, create workflows, improve processes, and document for compliance. It's really great. It does take some time to set it all up but worth it. **What problems is MedTrainer solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of the biggest problems we have is tracking with our policies. With Medtrainer we are able to know who has reviewed, changed, or added new information. ### 16. Instead of having multiple managers keeping inconsistent records, this makes it very easy to have everything we need. We also use the contract management peice which makes it very easy to know which contracts are coming due for renewal and don't auto renew due to being overlooked. We've also recently added the modules for creating our own training courses and for onboarding. These take some work on the front end to implement, but they make the process so much easier. It's really helped with consistency. **What do you dislike about MedTrainer?** The reporting feature is a little cumbersome, but not to the point that it's a deal breaker. Also, the course auto renew should be set to auto renew 3 months before the latest due date to keep everyone on track, but instead it auto renews to 3 months before the user passed the course, so people are way off course for when things are actually due. **Recommendations to others considering MedTrainer:** If you are managing things with manual processes now, MedTrainer is a great tool for easing into automating processes. There is a lot of control and customization that can happen at the pace the organization or manager needs it to. Understand that you need to dedicate time to setting up the system for maximum impact, but it will pay off in the long run. **What problems is MedTrainer solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solving issues with documentation and consistency of required training. Prior to using MedTrainer, managers of different departments and offices had no consistency in what they were doing for HIPAA, OSHA, radiation safety, etc training. Some were making sure it was completed annually, while others didn't even have it on their radar. MedTrainer has given us the ability to centralize everything we need to meet compliance standards. Adding our own courses has also helped to make training and documentation way easier! ### 17. LMS, SDS, policies, Incident reporting, and more. **What do you dislike about MedTrainer?** The LMS modules have occasional misspellings which I worry looks unprofessional to employees. **Recommendations to others considering MedTrainer:** Great system to minimize multiple different platforms and get resources for staff all in once place. We found there was a great deal of customization for our incident reporting after talking with our support person. If your organization has to credential and privilege employees, this is an added feature to the standard platform, but we looked into it and were able to take all of our paper files and binders and have everything scanned into 'QuickCred'. It allows you to put in expirations, send reminders to providers, and run reports, all of which make this arduous process much easier and very organized. **What problems is MedTrainer solving and how is that benefiting you?** The added the new authoring tool so that we can now create our own courses. So instead of having to assign ever individual training we can create that bundle then just assign the bundle to the staff to complete. I like the option to do a group learning for some who just want to do their training together and complete as a learning group. I also like that our office managers can go in and individually assign training to their staff as needed. **What do you dislike about MedTrainer?** Auto renew is awful! I didn't like that and called my rep right away. I would have liked a more extensive training on how to use the system incase there are other things that i wasn't taught to use the system to its fullest. We were just given a tutorial from our representative. So i'm worried there is something i am missing or not using to the full ability. I feel like things are kind of scattered, it would be great if the layout was super simple and streamlined. **Recommendations to others considering MedTrainer:** meet several times with the rep. We found out that our ADP payroll system could connect with medtrainer so it made it simple and smooth to get employees uploaded **What problems is MedTrainer solving and how is that benefiting you?** We solved our annual training requirement. Which is so helpful and it insures that you use all of the aspects of this program. Also the ability to track incident repots and have them report at different levels. It not only does the reporting but will keep the record on file. If I ever need help with anything he jumps right in. In my opinion, customer service and the ability to feel that your needs are met are huge. Medtrainer makes organizing extremely easy and our rep is always willing to jump on a call on with us when we need him to help us or have any questions. **What do you dislike about MedTrainer?** The only downfall of Medtrainer, in my opinion, is that the program can sometimes be too slow. **What problems is MedTrainer solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been utilizing the reports section of Medtrainer, the employee center, the contract management section, documents and policies, etc and have loved it! Having a section solely for incident reports is very helpful, and I have actually created some forms within the incident report section, which is convenient. ### 23. Anytime I have a question or need help, my representative promptly responds and helps me over the phone or gets back to me quickly. **What do you dislike about MedTrainer?** We can't sort or search incident reports by name (patient, customer, staff who completed form). We can't block documents uploaded to incident reports, so reports free text or reply to questions. They aren't easily sorted and it can be difficult to find content that meets your needs. The interface is user friendly. **What do you dislike about MedTrainer?** I dislike that there are typos in the safety plans and training modules (which the wording needs to be updated). I am not a fan of the update system for safety plans -- when I update a plan it completely erases all my previous data from the first time I created it (my words are erased, my selections are removed -- I would like the update to keep previous data so I it can help me remember what needs to be changed or not). I would like more details on Gender & Sexuality sensitivity training module, its very bland and not very good. Working in the medical field with LGBTQ communities, we need something for our employees that is more detailed and in-depth and correct). Lastly, would prefer the Hazard Assessment Inspection function to be under "OSHA Toolkit" option. The Hazard Assessment should have the ability to create a new inspection form rather than it be an "update" each time. The reason why is assessment/inspections may be different for multiple locations. Also, the Hazard Assessment needs an "update" option -- where all information is saved and not removed when deciding to update an inspection. Lastly, super users and administration should have the option to delete items like inspections -- sometimes inspections are done in error and need to be removed completely -- I would like to have that function to delete -- or at least only have that ability for the super user. **What problems is MedTrainer solving and how is that benefiting you?** I enjoy that I have the ability to go to Medtrainer for all my compliance needs. ### 34. I MedTrainer for required education for staff as well as physicians. The reports available to track module compliance are outstanding and simple to run. I really like the fact that you can easily create your own custom education modules. Most recently, I have subscribed to the basic CPR education module and it has worked very well! Most importantly, MedTrainer's customer support is FANTASTIC! There is always a representative available when needed. **What do you dislike about MedTrainer?** I have not found anything I dislike so far! **What problems is MedTrainer solving and how is that benefiting you?** Annual education requirements for staff and physicians, CPR training and availability to create custom education modules. ### 35.
