- They have a very respinsive support staff
- They have vastly simplified the process of achieving compliance for our cloud infrastructure in audits Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- They have taken years to implement feedback which made their product very painful to use. That being said it eventually did get implemented.
- They abstract away control of the docker layer of the cluster making it very difficult to integrate many containerized tools which would be trivial to implement without MedStack.
- Their API is proprietary and does not use standardized IaC configurations such as terraform. This can lead to vendor lock-in and make it difficult to move infrastructure in the event that MedStack's infrastructure becomes unavailable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First and foremost, I was impressed with the platform's security features. Medstack uses advanced security protocols and compliance frameworks to protect patient data and maintain regulatory compliance. The platform is compliant with various regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, PIPEDA, and GDPR, which assures healthcare providers that their data is secure and private. After my use this platform, I find nothing wrong or that I dislike about it, it only goes a head to prove how the solution captures a wide range of use cases, I would encourage them to continue in the same trajectory Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Stable and easy to use. Medstack has been receiving constant improvements and it is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The zero-downtime deployments were not available for years, causing a lot of overnight deployments that should be avoided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, the depth of respect we have found the name gives us North American wide with sophisticated clients. Military, Police and first responder communities require the highest levle of compliance and security. MedStack gives us that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sorry but we like it ALL!! The system suits all of our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The security and ease of use, considering that our Engineering team could easily be compliant and quickly implement health-related web-apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Besides price, which is understandable for what it offers, I don't have any con to highlight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The support team has been great every time we needed them, whether it's for help with setting up new services, or restoring a backup.
I logged in to a server to create a database dump so I could anonymize it and do some troubleshooting, and they sent me a notification that there was suspicious activity on the account, with a detailed play-by-play of the things I'd done to copy the database. This is an impressive level of monitoring, as this is exactly what an attacker would do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MedStack isn't general purpose hosting like Azure or AWS. You run Docker containers on MedStack and can access them through an HTTPS port.
You can't expose other ports or set up a VPN that you can use to access your services. This is good from a privacy and security perspective, but also can be limiting if this is what you're used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MedStack's control panel is easy to use: Simply choose where to host your app, spin up your servers, and MedStack automatically configures all firewalls, intrusion detection systems and security settings in a way that complies with most of the technical requirements of regulations such as HIPAA and PHIPA. If you have an existing cloud application that you'd like to bring to MedStack, and your app incorporates certain cloud-based services (such as Kubernetes or AWS Lambda for example), the app can be difficult to port to MedStack... though MedStack is increasing its support of various technologies more and more. MedStack, the team, have been there at every corner or intersection, where we've needed advice, and given very good advice. They are experienced in working with "the start up", and make the experience of being a start up so much easier than when we were not working with them. What continues to impress me is the attention with which they manage our relationships. In their industry, they are working with technologies at all points along the prepare-to-go-to-market continuum. What they do is endeavour to meet you where you're at so that you can get to the next stage as comfortable as possible. They really do this!
Recently we were in negotiations with a larger health authority. We needed to have the paperwork in place to support our position of level a healthcare level of cyber security that was necessary for us to move forward, to check all the boxes for the health authority IT security team. A phone call, a next day discussion and with a few tweaks we had a package that our MedStack team delivered and we presented . It felt like Medstack, the team, came in full force to assist us. They did. The process with the health authority that would've taken months to get all the boxes checked going back-and-forth with request of paperwork and supportive documentation - Medstack handed to us on a platter. Medstack assisted in helping us prepare all the documentation with closing on tge the IT security assessment in six days versus months of back n forth.
I cannot say enough for the organization that I've been privileged to work with over the last four years. They were very personable and responsive from the beginning when they were smaller abd it was nice to see things have not changed -- Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly there is not much - there is nothing to dislike about great customer service and being fully supprted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
