  ### 1. Confusing Supplier Portal UX Undermines Onboarding and Invoice Automation

**What do you like best about Medius?**

The Medius onboarding team are friendly and try to be helpful, their pricing was more favourable than other providers. They do have a Supplier Portal for supplier self service which many other providers do not yet have.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

Supplier Onboarding and the Supplier Portal feel too disjointed, and too US-based for something being sold to the UK market. The functionality within the Supplier Portal is very confusing and far from user-friendly. It will cause delays because suppliers won’t know where to find the supplier onboarding form they’ve been sent. That, in turn, will delay Invoice Automation, as the invoice may arrive before the supplier has been fully onboarded. There also won’t be any Purchase Order, because the supplier will not yet have been transferred to our ERP system. The whole premise of Supplier Onboarding, the Supplier Portal, and Invoice Automation is to speed up the process with minimal human intervention, but the poor UX of the Supplier Portal will undermine that.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Invoice automation will help us create a more structured P2P process by reducing the number of invoices processed without Purchase Orders. It will also support the high volume of manual invoice processing and, in turn, help eliminate coding errors.

  ### 2. User-Friendly, High Adoption, and Smooth SAP Integration

**What do you like best about Medius?**

The tool is very user-friendly. Adoption is very high. Integration with SAP is smoothless. Performance of the tool is 99% top nevertheless we process thousand invoices a day. the AI used in the tool is awesome

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

If you create a support ticked in case you have a small issue it sometimes takes long and the level of service desk employees is not high enough.  Pricing schemes are not so clear and change over time

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Performance of the team is much higher than before. We managed to lower the FTE in AP. PO invoices are much more controlled in depth than before we had Medius

  ### 3. Medius Shows Promise, but Implementation Delays and Planning Gaps Hurt Delivery

**What do you like best about Medius?**

We are still in the project phase of implementing Medius and have not yet begun using the system in a live environment. So far, we’ve seen potential in the solution and are looking forward to realising the benefits once implementation is complete.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

As we are still in the implementation phase, our main concerns relate to the delivery of the project rather than the system itself. The project has taken significantly longer than initially planned, with a two-month implementation now extending into a much longer timeline, with further delays expected.
There have been challenges around planning, pace, and level of detail. For example, limited time has been allocated to key areas such as invoice requirements, and some important components, such as subcontract invoice processes, have not yet been fully addressed. Overall, we would have expected stronger structure, more realistic planning, and better momentum to keep the project on track.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are still in the implementation phase, so benefits have not yet been realised.
The intended outcome is to improve the efficiency and consistency of our accounts payable processes, particularly through better invoice capture, logging, and data quality.
We expect this to save time for users by reducing manual input and giving them more capacity to focus on resolving issues, while also improving visibility and KPI reporting, leading to more consistent and controlled processes overall.

**What do you like best about Medius?**

The app feels modern and intuitive, and has a lot of freedom to give - the configuration is easy to adjust for the perfect fit, no matter how manual or automated your processes are.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

While the History on each document is very transparent, there is no such transparency regarding system configuration. As an administrator, I would really appreciate a more detailed log over configuration changes. I would also appreciate support for MFA.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us automate our processes and significantly shorten invoice processing time. It also provides strong support for multidimensional approval workflows, which is especially important for larger companies with dual reporting structures.

  ### 5. Complex Setup, But Worth the Integration

**What do you like best about Medius?**

I enjoy Medius for its robust user experience. It allows me to do a lot without needing any customization or configuration, which I find very flexible. The flexibility with dimensions is great, enabling a powerful workflow that makes each approval process accurate and detailed. I also appreciate the ability to set up individual cash value limits for groups or users, allowing the process to follow an approval matrix, which is something we needed.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

The setup of Medius was very difficult and took weeks, even months, which was longer than anticipated. The user experience feels a little dated and could be more updated. There are likely applications that are easier in terms of functionality.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Medius solves the basic problem of AP automation and offers tight integration with NetSuite, which was our goal.

As a company they are responsive and always help when needed, I have been with Medius now for over 2 years andI I would recommend them as a vendor always

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

As a company the software is expensive but I would say that the functionality and support ois what you are paying for. The software is worldwide used so makes it good for everyone

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PO management handling and reporting using AI technology that works very well. The users in the organisation love meduis so it is definitely going to be here for a while

  ### 7. Fast, Customizable Inbox and SmartFlow AI—But User Onboarding Needs Work

**What do you like best about Medius?**

The new inbox experience makes it easy to customize to my needs and it is fast and responsive. With the SmartFlow AI functionality it is easy to code an invoice.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

Managing users leaving and then onboard a new hire is quite cumbersome. A function that allows all settings to be copied from one user to another have been requested for years without address.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of purchase order invoices that needs to be matched on a line level and that works quite well and has reduced our workload significantly.

  ### 8. Friendly Interface Makes Coding and Approving Invoices Effortless

**What do you like best about Medius?**

I can easily pull up archived invoices to check approval status, view a copy of the invoice, and more. The friendly interface makes it simple to code and approve invoices. The AI function to "use prior coding" is especially helpful for recurring invoices.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

When I try to search the invoice list for a specific vendor, it still displays all invoices, including voided and cancelled ones. This makes me spend extra time drilling into the invoices, only to eventually find out they’ve been voided.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Medius allows our company to process invoices relatively seamlessly by moving them through our approval hierarchy until they’re ready to be sent to AP for final processing.

**What do you like best about Medius?**

the easiness of the system and the multi currency, group wide, integrate with Netsuite and was easy to get trained on for the whole group(finance and other )

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

not a lot I dislike about it - could do with more AI maybe but smart flow is ok - performance can be a bit slow at certain times of the day or certain days

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it has solved many problems such as consistency across the group (20 sites) and it's benefiting us massively in terms of integration with netsuite our ERP

**What do you like best about Medius?**

It has SSO and we can use it to get in easy and the new layout looks great and its easy to understand. Being able to have diffrent types of medius and having them being able to be able to be added by a group is fantasticly easy.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

Seems like it sometimes logges into the wrong program some times but not sure if its a medius issue or a office one, Make it so there is  a easy way to identify if its an error with an invoice and maybe have the contact information or somehow what you should do with that invoice somewhere?

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to see cashflow in the business nad how each part is performing.
