The customer support has also been an enormous help throughout the entire process, nothing was ever too much to ask, and every request, no matter how big or small, was answered and resolved at an unprecedented speed. **What do you dislike about Median.co?** There actually hasn't been anything I did not like. The only thing I’ve noticed about myself is that now that I know it can be this easy, I want to turn a lot more things into apps. **What problems is Median.co solving and how is that benefiting you?** Median.co has helped us tremendously in setting up our Android and iOS app, especially because we didn't have any knowledge for this ourselves. After building and testing the app through the Median.co platform, they were also extremely involved in the launch of the apps in the Apple and Google app stores. Be sure to discuss pricing fully before signing an agreement with the company, as they will attempt to upcharge you for anything and everything extra. We did have a talented software developer, but his resources were tied up in other efforts, and so we did not have someone dedicated to developing Android and iOS apps. We looked into hiring a 3rd party developer to assist, but then came across Median.co. What we loved most about it was that we were able to instantly preview and customize the app in the browser without having to go through the app stores. We could get everything just right first, and then test directly on our devices once we were happy. It was extremely easy to get the branding implemented across the icons, splash screens, etc. We then were able to use their services to actually prepare our app for publishing and get it onto the app stores. Median (GoNative at the time) made it very quick and easy, we were able to get an app up and running within 2 weeks, which was outstanding! It's simple to use, provides all the features needed, and just works. **What do you dislike about Median.co?** Not necessarily a downside, but if your not a technical person, there is a lot of considerations to make on your app, so it requires some time to go through all the options and understand everything. It's all important stuff, but I can see how it can be confusing to someone who isn't familiar with it, which is why they are probably hitting Median's site in the first place, because they don't have any tech ability to write their own app. **What problems is Median.co solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using their auto-generated apps allows us to quickly get apps into the app stores for users. I actually attempted what they offer before with a third-party dev shop, and it went horribly. The solution they offer, the ability to make a native app using your website build, and to integrate it with all of these native features, is remarkable. This makes it so that many people who simply don't have the resources to build their own native app suddenly can. I highly, highly recommend everyone use Median. It's easy to use, easy to implement. I think it would be nice if they added video tutorials to their build pages alongside the documentation, so that as you are building your solution you could watch demonstrations. Actually, they have some on YouTube, and because of those videos I realized a feature which I then added for my build. I let them know, and I think they probably will add video tutorials. **What problems is Median.co solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have a website, but it needs to have an app. There is no way around it. But, I simply don't have the resources to build a native app. So, I learned about something called a webview, where I can basically get an app that just loads my website. But, everywhere they seem cheap, low quality, and sketchy. I tried to make a webview with a dev shop, and it went very badly. I wasted money and time. But, one guy on my team found out about Median, and we checked it out. We were impressed right away, but as I learned more it became more and more impressive. They have a solution for everything. We liked everything. **What problems is Median.co solving and how is that benefiting you?** For 16 years, we had passed on building native apps and instead offered simple web and mobile versions of our software that were easy for our small team to build and maintain. Anytime we need to change something (minor or major), we make the change in one place and everyone gets it instantly, without us having to resubmit an app to Apple and Google and also require our users to download/install an update. In recent years, more and more of users would ask where our app was and/or why we didn’t provide native apps. Owners at restaurants we serve would frequently ask us if we were planning on building an app and would let us know that would make their lives easier when onboarding new staff. People naturally look for an app for everything now and we were not there. We always directed them to our mobile site and stayed away from building additional native software (apps).
