MediaLab is very intuitive to use. I like that the training videos it comes with are actually helpful. I also like how easy it is to see various permissions, what version you are working on, and know what type of document you have (job aid, form, etc.). It has a fairly clean user interface and feels pleasant to navigate around in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While this isn't necessarily an issue with using MediaLab, it was quite the chore of moving over old forms and procedures into MediaLab. You have to make sure all of your documents sort of fit into their categories and how they break them down. This is fine, but know ahead of time it might take a while to sort through old documents and make sure they align with how mediaLab wants them to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MediaLab Document Control is a great way to keep multiple procedures or documents organized in one place online. My aboratory job uses it for all of our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Instead of having employees sign off on new procedures on a hard copy, they now get email alerts to sign off electronically. MediaLab also sends email alerts when procedures are due for a review. This keeps everyone on a schedule and accounted for! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
