On the other hand, Linux Foundation's project Zephyr RTOS uses the idea that mbed created and adds it an RTOS. I see that people are going into that direction. mbedOS needs better marketing. The best thing I like about Mbed is getting access to the codes/Libraries of people who worked or are still working on a similar application. And all the team can have access. Mbed OS is far better then other OS available Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not much to dislike but from my experience, I can say that the search can be optimized further as it's hard sometimes to find a certain set of code/libraries. Apart from this, there are no other issues encountered Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You have a good IDE available in the browser, making it easy to program Microcontrollers without the need to download speific software for each kind of Microcontroller.

After the Mbed OS 6 update, they removed the old way that we used to you to print serially to the connected PC. I understand the new approach that they are taking and the idea of splitting Serial to buffered and unbuffered, but did not properly document what you use instead to replace the old functionality of pc.printf and how to change the baud rate. The default baud rate for the new printf function is set at 9600, which is really kow and unacceptable.

I have been using the Mbed os compiler throughout my degree, it a very easy to use and professional at the same time, this is the best software for beginners.
