The problem with matterport is that you have to use their cloud to process the tours as well as host the tours. At the beginning this is quite ok. But after a few months paying for the webhosting becomes very annoying. If you act as an agency as we do - you would have to sell the VR Tour webhosting to your customers as well. From our experience not to many smaller clients are willing to pay on a monthly basis for webhosting JUST for VR / 360 Tours. So main point is the costs for ongoing usage of the service. i like how easy the app is to use and how realistic the overall experience is. its a seamless process and can portray a real life experience to anyone that is not present in a conditioned space. i really love how you can go from birds eye view to inside the space without a hefty process. just click on plan vs 3d and youre set.
