What do you like best about MATLAB?

Matlab is very easy to use. Very simple commands and almost many mathamatics formulas you can use there to get the desired output. you can use this tool for analyizing the properties of an image to do further processing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MATLAB?

Matlab get some more time to complie the program and provide the output rather than other progamming platfoms. It is also more expensive rather than the other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MATLAB?

The feature of MATLAB that I find most interesting is how simple it is to use. Applications can be created, modified, and debugged with the MATLAB debugger and built-in integrated development environment. It is ideal for quick prototyping of new apps because it is so simple to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MATLAB?

It comes a little costlier than the other generic compilers. What you pay for C or Fortran, you would be paying twice or thrice compared to that for MATLAB Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MATLAB?

Despite being a proprietary programming language, MATLAB is surprisingly easy for C/C++/Java programmers. Moreover, tons of code examples and guides are officially provided for the users' benefit.

However, the most significant advantage is the support for various libraries for many applications like analysing circuits using Simulink or Deep Learning Toolbox for AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MATLAB?

The language itself is not free to use for everyone. Due to its proprietary nature, the free versions of the VMs are elementary and unsuitable for production-grade code. Features available for free as a student are not in the free version, which hinders development.

There also exists the issue of the VM not running smoothly on lower spec machines which further limits the accessibility of the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MATLAB?

From my perspective I found cost factor can limit access for students or researcher without access to institutional licenses other than this memory usage etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MATLAB?

I feel there should be more easy help and faq section wrriten as at time it can be hard to understand the data and information mentioned in the Help section. So users might feel difficulty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MATLAB?

Matlab has an amazing CLI and lots of useful functions to manipulate matrices or text quickly. There are packages to perform machine learning and other sophisticated statistical libraries to perform tests efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MATLAB?

The complexity and the script writing part become tedious, and if we need to implement a front end, that task is also very lengthy. It should create an environment where users can do their tasks easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MATLAB?

MATLAB for image processing is very easy and helpful. You can still use it online if you don't have the setup in your system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MATLAB?

MATLAB is heavy; it takes time while load and performs any operation. So if it is possible, we can try to improve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MATLAB?

I have been using MATLAB for my signal processing projects and found it to be extremely useful and easy for any simulation and the plotting tools offered. The syntax is very much easy and the inbuilt library comes in very handy. Also it works seamlessly with M1 silicon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MATLAB?

The interoperability of the software is something where a bit of improvement is needed, along with establishing cross-connections. MATLAB could come in with an official repository for better peer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MATLAB?

It's so easy to learn from the provided content. There are so many functions that can be used mathematically and helps to solve issues. To handle a matrix, the graphical representation is a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MATLAB?

It's expensive - the only thing I did not like about MATLAB. Other than that, there is one more minor negative point that industrial projects cannot be deployed to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MATLAB?

I like that it is very easy to program and use. In many programming languages, you may use IDLE, venv, or you should install specific add-ons for engineering use. But in Matlab is all integrated at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MATLAB?

It is challenging to mention something I dislike about this software because in all my engineering career, it has worked for me very well. But If I had to say something, it would be that some add-ons require high hardware requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
