I use MathType constantly when I am making activities for my students. It is great for worksheets, guided notes, and other classroom activities and lessons. The most convenient feature is being able to copy and paste math equations and save them as images. I use this to put together review games, warm-up activities and quizzes in my classroom. It has all the symbols I need for my lessons. I love that you can also change the size and font color, which makes it easier for me to customize lessons and materials. Most of the time Math Type fits all my needs, although I do wish that I could add a space easily. Sometimes I want multiple equations side by side but spaced out, or I want to add text right away. Why i like most about the MathType is that it comes with many useful characters and symbols that are useful in typing a mathematical or statistical equation. Another thing is that MathType is an easy to use software as all you need to do is to click insert and you feed the equation using the right symbols and characters.
