What I appreciate most about MasterControl Qx is the automation features within the training module. Although we've only been using the system for around six months, I can already recognize the advantages it will offer us. Previously, we relied on a paper-based system where keeping track of retraining was nearly impossible, but now I've begun setting up automated retraining tasks. I understand that MasterControl is designed as an electronic system with the intention of reducing paper use. However, in practice, a significant portion of testing and documentation still relies on forms that must be printed and tracked manually. One of the main drawbacks I’ve encountered is that MasterControl does not offer an efficient method for controlled printing of documents. While Controlled Copies are available, the process can become cumbersome and time-consuming, especially when there are over 100 forms to print each day. Furthermore, the reconciliation options for controlled copies are limited and do not adequately support proper reconciliation once a document has been executed.
