I like how customizable it is. I also like how they are constantly improving it. Overall, it is a great way to keep track of everything. It ties into each facet well and makes finding things easier. What I like best is that it's a centralized system that supports documents, training, risl, audit, supplier, projects - Quality Complete and PLx. I am also looking forward to the new AQEM - enhance forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very little dislike if there's any. For right now, it woould be the wait for AQEM. We wanted to use enhance form earlier this year, but had to stay using our manual paper process for CAPA, Deviation, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are in the process of implementing Master Control within our company and it will be a huge change for better. it will be our one QMS system that will replace a multiple systems we currently use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are some limitations within Master Control:

- no multiple documents can be put through one packet if not preconfigured first hover the combination of docs that can go through one packet can change. ideally any doc type we should be able to put through one packet.

- Rejection codes should be pre-defined (rather than a free text field) so the dat can be trended Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mastercontrol Quality Management System has worked incredibly well for our organization. We have been able to customize the experience for our users. Currently excited about our pending upgrade to the cloud. MC support has been extremely helpful during this process as we navigate this new territory. MC has also enabled us to easily create, track, manage, and produce documents as needed for a number of regulatory agencies. We are excited to implement AQEM as part of our upgrade! Currently we have an older version of MC that has been a little cumbersome to use. Our employees found it difficult to search and navigate. The new features we are upgrading to should certainly help the user experience! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The MasterControl Quality Management System keeps all our records and documents in one easy to use place. It keeps everything organized for us without a lot of setup/upkeep on our side. I do not like that you can close an investigation with open action items. I do not like the report function since you can alter and filter before it's exported to excel. I think that reopening an investigation of caps should go back thru approvals Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I main advantage is that we can mostly avoid paper. We use it for documents, training, deviations, CAPA, OOS-OOT, suppliers, audits and production records. The system is relatively straightforward to use and doesn't require a huge amount of training for users to be able to perform their tasks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the modules are relatively old and don't function as one might expect in a modern system. Some configuration items are not as configurable as one might expect. However, they're moving to address that with their new platforms to support a more modern interface and configura tion functionality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MasterControl has enabled us to streamline our old paper based processes and build efficiency in everything Quality related. Collaboration between our large functional groups (quality and operations) has greatly improved due in large part to the MasterControl Qx solution. In addition, the system is super user friendly and there is lots of free training/help resources available. Even when something goes wrong, the support is always there to assist in a timely manner. MasterControl systems can be rigid in their customizabilty. Although there are improvements being made in that front with new solutions like Advanced Quality Event Management, not all customers are able to upgrade to the new solutions right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
