Markmagic is a great barcode printing software application that is for resale and integration opportunities. Since it was built for integration, it is an ideal product to recommend to customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I know you can use Markmagic with Mac products but you can’t use the designer on a Mac. Certainly something that needs to be addressed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MarkMagic integrates really well with our WMS. Our product label printing can be done without extensive manual editing. We don’t have to edit ZPL or anything like that. Now, we can edit formats whenever we need to and can run print previews before going to production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It took a little while to get our license straightened out. I’m not sure why, but this was fixed pretty quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overall integration with other systems seems difficult
Could have better ability when it comes to data structure changes. This could be due to our integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There really isn't anything much other than the pricing structure Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We were able to start creating our barcodes and labels, then print them from our printers. We didn't have to buy any new hardware or deal with any challenging technical issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't much I have found to dislike about the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Markmagic is very easy to use. We got started easily by importing the templates that we needed without any issue. With the software's designer it is easy to make changes on our own when necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Set up got a little confusing. We had to reach out to their technical support for help. But they got it taken care of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
JMagic designer tool connects any MarkMagic Server (including the MarkMagic Platform Independent instance we have running in the Cloud) and is super easy to create/update all our label and form formats. Deployment was a breeze: Since MMPI is web based, all of our users (remote and on-prem), had immediate access to printing and PDF. Over the last 6 months our non-technical team began leveraging MarkMagic Conditions to handle customer specific format requests which has been an unexpected benefit of the system. Previously, format changes would take a few days and require a programmer’s involvement, now they take just a few minutes which makes us happy and our notoriously impatient customers very happy. While the main MarkMagic WAS can be installed on any platform, the JMagic design tool must be installed on a Windows PC. Not a big deal, but we have some Linux users who want nothing to do MS. I understand CYBRA is releasing a web-based design tool soon, so any device/platform with a browser can be used to design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
