They are terrible **What do you dislike about Market Leader?** They lie on the initial call telling you that you will receive leads in certain zip codes...however, they will send other "leads" from other "nearby" zip codes - that are NOT nearby. They do NOT vet them (as they claim) in any way by checking the email addresses. It is a SCAM and a complete waste of money. Customer service is difficult to reach. They bury a "cancellation notification" in the contract, which they don't provide until you ASK for it...so you must call 60 days from the end of the term (already established) to cancel the service. It's set up to keep you on the hook for their garbage. They are completely unhelpful and make excuses for the garbage they send, calling it a "bonus" if you have more than the allotment...they were ALL terrible. Despite investing $700 per month, I have not received a single valid lead relevant to my service areas. Instead, the leads provided have consistently come from locations over two hours away, which are completely outside my target market. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue in the first two months, Market Leader failed to make any adjustments. What’s more concerning is their refusal to cancel my membership or issue a refund for the services that were clearly not delivered as promised. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer concerns is deeply troubling and speaks to a fundamental failure in their service model. I would caution any professional considering Market Leader to seriously reconsider. Biggest scam for real estate leads I have ever seen in my career. The automatic emails sound very sketchy and essentially offer these leads an agency relationship without a formal consultation and agency disclosure. I always know they are there for me on any situation and handle my issue efficiently and professionaly. I truly learn from their training department as well. My team and I have been through several and I still have so much to learn. One thing I have learned is I have to understand that Market Leader is part of my team and to share with them more on ideas or struggles or even compliments. Their marketing leadership has been truly a lifesaver for my business. We are working together to help my business grow. The website is amazing and user friendly as well as the dashboard. The key is "talk to them" they will teach you how to use it so you can maximise sales. I receive many contacts daily and the app on my phone makes it especially user friendly. I can be on top of a mountain in the Black Hills and respond to a lead.! I truly appreciate market leader. The ease it takes to work within the dashboard and with their training is key because the real estate world is tough out here. The ease of implementation and intregration of their tools is key. The number of features they offer for me as the Broker and my team makes our jobs so much more easy and fun as well. It takes away the stress of waiting on hold for long periods, or being frustrated because the app is not user friendly! Market leader has amazing customer support which I started with in this review and I stand by them and their system. **What do you dislike about Market Leader?** I have not experienced anything I don't like. It is my own schedule and discipline in training and utilizing all the training they offer that I struggle with. I am training new agents coming in and I have to push myself to make more time for training. But as far as Market Leader, no issues! They answer to the phone, they are attentive to issues, they offer training, they are on it! I appreciate them. I am working on my own discipline to utilize their tools more often. There is absolutely nothing to date that I don't like about Market leader! **What problems is Market Leader solving and how is that benefiting you?** With the interest rates jumping sky high and the NAR law suit, sales and contacts have been a lot more in "looky lou" mode; however, with more training and strategy meetings with the Market Leader customer service and marketing team they are helping me with new ways to reply and keep track of my leads. The website is attracting more contacts every day. I struggled a bit financially this first quarter and Market Leader has been strong in all ways to help me continue to grow and learn how to adjust to the "today" real estate. ### 8. It is a waste of time and creates a negative view of your name due to the pestering of their system. They will not work with you, they only threaten if you mention non-payment. The product looks and sounds great, but for realtors, it is nothing more than a scam. Legal recourse for potentially damaging my business name? If you want to generate leads in a city that has higher priced real estate, you can with market leader without you being charged excessive fees like they do on other lead generation platforms. Market leader is more democratic and charges the same fee regardless of location. This unto self is the most aspirational, goal oriented and leveling of the play field aspect about Market Leader that I absolutely love. Plus you can change targeted cities at any time without incurring any additional fees. This is absolutely fantastic. I also love the insights into the leads behavior, what emails they click on, when they are on your website, what homes they are looking at, automatic nurturing of leads and what activites I should do to connect with a lead. **What do you dislike about Market Leader?** The biggest challenge is I wish Market Leader could verify the phone number before they send the lead. Also wish they could enable a lead to view multiple homes/clicks and then capture their information after 5 to 10 clicks. **What problems is Market Leader solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are solving the cost issue primarily. Their customer service is weak and they lie about what they're trying to sell you. **What do you dislike about Market Leader?** They overpromise and underdeliver on all their products. We had their "House Values" product for quite a while and every month, we would have to let them know how much they'd underdelivered by. If we forgot, then we just got overcharged. Then we made the mistake of signing up for a product they call "Network Boost." Supposedly these were "buyer leads" - but every single person who responded was a renter because their ads simply said "available properties." We asked them to please state that the homes advertised were "for sale" and they said they can't do so. They are unresponsive, difficult to deal with and they promise things you won't get. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH MARKET LEADER! Also - unfortunately, you can't set it up so that emails from you will come from your regular email address or that they'll be directed to your regular website. It's all shadow emails and a weird wannabe Market Leader website. Seriously don't work with this company. The cost is right down the middle. Not too high and not low, but fare for what you get. I will say a lot of CRM websites dont have auto campaigns. Good Luck trying to do your own. They claimed my account manager had left there company which is why communication was poor. Not one lead was even close to a sale much less a conversation. And when I told my account manager I was cancelling (over the phone) he just said ok they will cancel my account. Then when I got another charge I emailed him and repeated mybrequest to cancel my account. But then I kept getting recurring charges. No response. Then I called again and they said he had quit and i officially have to log my csncellation on their wegsite log in. and then I had to wait for a response. Then like a week later i called asking for status. They said it was never received an send email again. Meanwhile 3 weeks had passed and they charged me for the previous month and then the current month because they also have that bull shit rule they need 30 day notice to cancel. So they can just take more of your money for a non service. I even sent them the email I had sent to the no longer existing account manager as proof I was trying to cancel service. Their team members are awesome too and I have come to actually know people on their team (not simply a 1-800#). Reeve and Charles have been extremely supportive in helping me work through some of my challenges and providing guidance based on their expertise. Unlike other sources that send hundreds of crappy leads with 0% conversion, Market Leader send fewer (and costlier) leads, but conversion rates are higher. 2.5% is my personal success rate using ML (meaning if I call 100 ML leads, 2-3 transactions will come from that). **What do you dislike about Market Leader?** The cost of market leader is high but once transactions hit, this becomes a non-issue. One area for improvement on the seller leads is to make it easier to stop the automated emails once I am already engaged with a prospective customer. I can be confusing to the customer if we've already talked and auto emails are still being sent as if we had not talked yet. I tried removing a customer from the drip emails but it didn't work. Hopefully there's a simple way to fix this. Sales agents say one thing and the service provided is completely different. I called them numerous times to get our advertising changed and it took months and it’s still not the way we originally discussed. They also claimed leads were able to be linked to Chime CRM which they were not via API. I had a 6 month contract with them where they claimed to waive the first month of service, since then they have charged me additional months. My “account manager” has never reached out until I requested to end my service, I never spoke to an account manager as they told me I would hear from one through out my subscription. I have requested to speak to someone with their legal team and no response. I asked for leads to be turned off because they were also advertising sold listings, and they refused. It has been a terrible experience. They turn unprofessional and unresponsive in a heartbeat. They are your best friend when signing up. After you have the program, good luck! You are signed into a minimum of six months with poor leads and the most horendous customer service. **What do you dislike about Market Leader?** The lack of quality leads, The exrortinante pricing, poor customer service, and unprofessional staff are my major issues with this scam company. They will be your best friend until you have an issue, then they will ghost you. Any company that doesn't allow you to try their program first, prior to signing a 6 month program should be a huge red flag. After two weeks of trying to get a hold of a supervisor, someone finally called me back. I let them know I would be leaving an honest poor review. He laughed and said we already have thousands of bad reviews and that is not stopping us, we will be around tomorrow. Wow. Stay away ar all costs and save yourself the hastle, money, and time. There are other lead generation services that are legit. Market Leader uses thousands of real estate specific terms and geography specific locations to attract consumers to customer's website. When a consumer clicks on the advertisement, they are driven to a results page on the agent's real estate website. After viewing a second property, the consumer has the option to register and create an account to receive daily/weekly/monthly listing alerts. A consumer who creates an account is a lead, funneled into agent’s contact management system and is available for the agent to engage using the Market Leader contact management system tools.  Market Leader guarantees working contact information (working phone number and/or working email address) and if email address is not deliverable, the customer can return that lead.  We would love to spend some one-on-one time with you to assist you and make sure you are receiving value. After 3 months I realized what I was getting from this expensive "leads site" and requested cancelation via email with the sales rep who signed me up. He said is a 6 months contract and have to wait. He reiterated that I do not have to call back to request the cancelation as he noted it on the account, which was a lie or he does not know what his company's policy is. At 6 months time I followed up to make sure the account is cancelled and stop the charges, he replied that I have to contact custome service to cancel....what? By now there's an addtional charge and the customer service rep would not even consider the emails communication with their sales rep in order to reverse that extra charge, and threatened that if I reverse it with my credit card they'll come after me for it and report me to collections.
