Top Rated ManageWP Alternatives
There are so many affordable options that are available to people. The detail provided in a report and the various automation features help make them run smoothly! The fact that you can update themes and multiple plugins is also an excellent tool. It has become a one-stop-shop for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When multiple items are being updated at once, it tends to take too long, or I have often found myself refreshing the browser or starting over completely. This seems like a bug that could be fixed over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Economical and easy to use, the basic functions are quite effective Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bad in everything else, the services work once every ten times, continuous problems and ridiculous interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing I like most about ManageWP is that it helped me realize it is no longer a beneficial software to use in conjunction with WordPress websites. It used to be SUPER easy to migrate sites, clone sites, and have a secondary space for website backups. However, since Godaddy bought them a few years back, the clones and migrations rarely work now, and support does NOT reply in a timely manner. I've been waiting on what should be a very simple response, and I've heard nothing in 3 business days. What I like best about Managewp is they helped me realize I need to find a solution that will actually fit my needs in 2024. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that they turned all of their very usefull addons into garbage that doesn't perform. No more easy site clones, migrations, and don't think about getting a quick response with support. XCloud is very new but may be the competitor to look at, although they aren't quite there yet for me to use them as our core management software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have a large client base and host upwards of 50 sites on our ManageWP account, and their platform makes organizing and updating sites incredibly easy. You can see what needs to be updated and changes, and you can track your website performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only things I would like to see changed or updated in ManageWP is the layout of their prohram and their pricing structure. Their layout is just a little dated and can be confusing to navigate if you are working on multiple sites. And I understand the pricing structure they currently have, but charging $1 for each task per site can get confusing when enabling extra capabilities across multiple sites. You get to manage all of your websites in one place, giving you a better idea of what sites are up or down or sites that need updates etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At times the notice of a site that is disconnected is incorrect, but that has to do with how the website is considered "down". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ManageWP lets me manage all plugins for all of my WP sites from one interface - all for absolutely free. The upsells features are not required - all I need is in the free version which is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot think of a single thing I dislike about ManageWP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's features, from uptime to security, customized reports, customizable templates, and support are fast and friendly. Most of the features here are quite easy to use for both WordPress experts and beginners alike. Their support team is really friendly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are usually issues when deleting sites, they have to be deleted twice or thrice before it finally happens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ManageWP is a solid, and mostly dependable product, with a large range of features. For a single user it probably represents the most comprehensive way of managing a website. I've always been impressed by the speed and knowledge of support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm possibly being unfair, but when ManageWP was bought out by GoDaddy I felt a sense of dread. A good product good very possibly ruined by a not very good hosting company. I saw no evidence of this while I used it, but when I needed to pick a product to use for work and commit longer term, I was nervous to stick with ManageWP. Ultimately the design/user experience felt dated, and the cost was overly complex to juggle for client use. So when it came to committing I decided on WPUmbrella instead. That I can keep all my clients' websites up to date from the same point.
I can generate reports with custom templates for each of my clients.
I can ensure the security of my clients' websites Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the generation of reports is very slow (at the beginning of the month).
Report templates could allow more customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ManageWP is a good solution if you manage a number of WordPress websites. The ability to manage them from a single dashboard and update plugins and themes with a single click is great. Backups are reliable and the white-label reports and brandable plugin installed on clients' websites is a great benefit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having used ManageWP for many years, I feel the system lacks active development. The dashboard feels dated and the pricing model isn't as straightforward as some competitor solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

managewp allows me to automate my WordPress sites with Ease, given that their business platform is around the value for money with a pay for what you need and offers a decent free offering as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
From time to time, you may need to intervene and fix a few issues, this is pretty normal with WordPress and its rolling updates, but I do wish they could offer a trial on some of the premium offerings to see if we would like to bump up or not to a package deal.
