We don't know what we don't know! With some policy setup we start to learn what we don't know and can act on it. I also like they are very easy to work with on change. Many changes you see come from all of us users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would not say dislikes ... if they were unwilling to change then it would be dislike. I would like to see better and easier reporting on filtering Apps based on Student or Staff OU. I would also like to see filtering based upon install base .. 10 users vs 100 users also against staff and student. I also would like to see subject matter in email more directed to issue found. All of this will come with maturity of the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ease of implementation and the fact that it disables accounts when one of our user accounts is trying to log in outside the US. This lets us know if a user account may have been compromised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike some of the email alerts. I personally would like to see a bit more details in the emails as they come through. Managed Methods is working on this with me, so hopefully, that will mean no dislikes for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like everything about their product. I prefer it over Cloudlock/Aperture. The thing I like the most is the "discovery" part of the solution. Having this product makes request for information extremely easy. And it generates a great report of it too. Whenever we search for different things in pictures, such as violence, it does a great job at flagging it. There's other things that it constantly finds and alerts. Such as, profanity. There's a lot of prebuilt rules and quarantine policies already, which are great for going live and then refining it. The engineering team from managed methods really know what they are doing. Especially for education environments. They know what is "best practice" for education. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. Everything works great and the reporting feature is great too. I'm not sure what else I'm supposed to say? Could we have it for free? I know "Bark" is free but, it's not a prevention tool like this. I want to quarantine our data that's trying to get exfiltrated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been utilizing the platform for over a year now and have nothing but positive results. The platform, we were able to get to fit our district with policies and it has given us a sense of relief to know that we have the "extra" controls to our Google users, especially when it comes to our student accounts. We are able to get notifications on suspicious events, policy violations, risks /malware pertaining to emails - very crucial and we do not take lightly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that we dislike, nada. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It allows me to provide the investigative resources that our stakeholders need to provide our students with a secure digital learning environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI can be a bit confusing to non-technical users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Managed Methods has a lot of helpful features when managing a school district. Our most used (and the feature I used the most / subsequently enjoyed) was the G Suite Email filter. We were able to scan through for common breaches of terms and help keep students more safe by looking for bullying and depression related incidents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only item I could think of in terms of a dislike for Managed Methods is the price. Don't get me wrong, it's fairly reasonable, but when I am on the tight budget of a small school district it becomes difficult to pay for luxuries such as Managed Methods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to have an eye in student drives. Policy violations happen all the time without notification. Managed Methods allows me to dive into drives, emails and documents and see details about offending content and emails. Love the ability to remove an email from EVERYONE'S email. I also love that I can see all the apps being associated with logins for my Google domain and deauthorize them if need be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I thoroughly enjoy the app and have nothing negative to say. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Their interface is very intuitive. Some of the other products we reviewed had interfaces that were difficult to follow what was happening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since we are relatively new to the product, we have not found anything that we dislike yet. I;m sure we will as we travel further down this road. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Managed methods makes it easy to monitor activities of email and documents.. It can detect suspicious logins and blacklisted country logins. It can then suspend an account if it is detected logging in from a blacklisted country. It can also detect keywords that you setup through a custom risks and policy settings tab. Each time a policy is violated it will send you an email detailing the risk. The emails can be adjusted to come in at certain intervals depending on what you want. The support from them is very quick and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The policies are not 100 percent fully customizable. You are unable to specify exact emails for certain policies. But overall it is a great product and the small dislikes outweigh the huge benefits of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customer support is GREAT! They are very response to help handle a current crisis, i.e. have to delete this email from all inboxes immediately. I also appreciate their willingness to listen to feedback and make changes/updates to their product based on the feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike about this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
