I use Apple Mail because I cannot stand Outlook. I needed two things. First, I needed to have read receipts to see who has opened my emails. Second, I needed to bcc Hubspot so that I can track all my correspondence in there. Mailbutler allows me to do both perfectly. Plus, their customer support is very quick to respond. I really love that if I mention that I am going to attach a document, I receive a warning if I try to send the email without attaching anything. I also appreciate that I can respond to emails and set them to send at a later time, for instances when I am trying to catch up, without letting anyone know I am working at the time. MailButler is excellent add-on software for our email client. I use Apple Mail and it is the only plug-in for the app that I have consistently used for the last three years and I cannot imagine using Mail without it. As a very small business owner with very big needs for managing and monitoring email, MailButler is a gamechanger. Signatures are eye popping and professionally done. Love it that signatures have the option to attach you company logo. Great branding ability. The signatures allow you to include links to social media sites of yours with the logo of the media site, rather than an ugly link.

Some receipients' servers servers strip tracking ability. Also, some servers tend to prevent accepting email, because of the large number of receipients in the email. The work around is to group the emails but then you will lose the ability to have everyone's replies being visible to all receipients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the send later and snooze functions as well as knowing when an email I send has been opened, but over the years, Mailbutler tends to slow down and sometimes even crash AppleMail...it seems to me that fully building the Dashboard and other settings into the Mail plugin itself, is the source of the problems...it worked better when all of the Administrative functions were on their website at bowtie.mailbutler.io. Dont' get me wrong, Mailbutler gives AppleMail many of the features that should have natively, but they also have too many pricing tiers. Also, you cannot create a custom signature without moving up from Professional to Professional Plus...custom signatures should be a basic feature for all tiers of subscriber... I really like the ability to schedule e-mails to be sent at various times during the day. Particularly useful is the tracking of when the e-mail is opened and when any links in the e-mail are clicked on. 1) Would like to be able to change subject lines of incoming e-mail to something to make them more pertinent for filing, particularly when the content of the e-mail has evolved or changed. This can be done in Office 365 but not in Apple Mail, without exporting, editting and importing the e-mail, which then changes the timestamp and other key information of the e-mail. Not sure if Mailbutler can create a work-around or do anything with this of request.

I needed a clean, simple, intuitive add-on to Apple Mail. Mailbutler fits right in and is seamless. I can't say enough good things about the UI/UX. The icons are intuitive, the UI is minimalist and easy to navigate and it doesn't make me feel like I have an add-on installed. It feels just like the Apple Mail I know and love. I use about six email accounts all within Apple Mail and Mailbutler handles it all beautifully. I'm looking forward to trying signatures next and exploring the tracking system. There are almost too many features - it's taking me a bit to learn all of the tools, but luckily their onboarding emails drip helpful tips. I have to admit that it is a touch overwhelming with all of the features. I'd almost like to install each feature one at a time as I need them. Some of the follow-up features took me by surprise. It only took me a minute to hide them, but was a little jarring for the first few hours of using the tool. Not sure why Mail wouldn't by now include what Mailbutler brings to the table, but thank God for these features. I dreamed of a way on Mac to delay send, schedule send, set follow ups, confirm receipt and searched years ago for such a tool. Bam! Finally found it! The features' value is obvious. The support is great, tingly, personal and accountable to themselves and myself. They constantly innovate. I do wish the price was less but for how much I use email in business I would pay that as an app much like 365 or other.
