I can create a batch of emails using a Google Sheet. This not only includes the template email, but attachments, as well. I sent out a personal email to 110 honor society students. Mail Merge for G Suite is an excellent tool for sending customized emails in bulk in a simple and clean interface. You can prepare a template in G Suite itself or use their built-in html editor. You can add custom fields in your email. Emails are sent out quickly and statuses for each mail sent out are displayed right in your Google Sheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best of this tool in its simplicity, is very intuitive from the beginning, In addition to being able to use the calculation sheets of drive to manage the sending of personalized mails solves a big problem. There are hundreds of options out there for mail merging. All accomplish the same basic goals, yet Mail Merge for G Suite should earn itself a place in the crowd. Here's why:
- It connects and works seamlessly with G Suite tools. If you're familiar with Google apps, then this mail.merge is perfect for you - the integration will be smooth.
- You can schedule a point for sending the emails. That's a phenomenal asset.
- I did not have any errors when pulling from a Sheet. I can't say the same for other competitors. It also processed rather quickly - no lag.
- You have the ability to include attachments! That's a huge plus!
- It was user-friendly and easy to learn to use. I didn't need extra support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My only concern is the pricing. I live in a G Suite world, but haven't found a reliable, free option. I don't like that you are required a term subscription instead of just a per email fee. The freemium version places an advertisement which I don't really like. For this reason, even though I like the platform and G Suite integration, I will continue to looking for other options. This add on makes it very easy to send multiple emails all from a single google spreadsheet. You can send different messages to different people and even include attachments (which can be the same or different for each recipient). It is also possible to schedule emails to send them later. The pricing model isn't that great as you have to pay yearly. It would be better if you paid on the number of emails you send.

The market is full of mail merge options depending on your needs and your end-goal. The Mail Merge for G Suite add-on is a solid option if you are starting with data in a Google Sheet. It was easy to navigate, get up and running, and learn to use. It also seems to work reliably well - no glitches. Another pro was that while this could be used professionally, due to the simplicity of it, the laymen could also learn to use this for personal tasks (i.e., wedding invitations, Christmas cards, etc.). At this point, I have few complaints. I only experimented with using this for a project and it exceeded expectations. I could see where pricing could be an issue if used professionally for large amounts of merging. No complaints, though! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
