"Best For Creating Scalable ML applications"

What do you like best about Mahout?

Mahout is a distributed linear algebra frame work which is designed by Apache a global leader in terms of database services.It is not only helpful for ML engineers and developers but also to statisticians and mathematicians to develop their hypothesis model and do some computation.The best part of it is that it supports multiple distributed backend systems.It makes easy to deploy large scale machine learning algorithms with some short lines of code using mahout.It makes very easy for developers to develop faster and deploy and test their code on large scale data.It also comes with some pretrained models of ML which you can directly use and test your data directly onto it. What do you dislike about Mahout?

I have nothing to dislike about mahout except it is the next best thing that apache has given after hadoop cluster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Mahout:

I recommend using mahout for deploying ML algorithms and processing Large scale test data for analysis and data mining.I have used it at my work and have found mahout very useful and easy to use.It takes very less time in processing large amount of data and gives good results.So if you are a analyst,statistician or a ML developer do use Mahout for deploying large scale ML algorithms. What problems is Mahout solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use mahout for deploying machine learning algorithms for large scale data analysis.I have used pre-implemented algorithms which are pretty simple to use and also I have deployed my own algorithm whenever the project analysis required some different tuning in the algorithm so at that time custom ML algorithm deployment was useful.Mahout is better way of processing and testing large scale data on ML algorithms.
