As a PR professional working in advertising, I find Magnetic particularly valuable in streamlining complex, multi-stakeholder workflows by centralising campaign planning, task allocation, and approval processes in one platform. It has significantly improved visibility across projects, making it easier to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure timely sign-offs from both internal teams and external stakeholders. This has reduced the volume of follow-ups and fragmented communication across email and messaging channels, allowing for more efficient coordination and faster turnaround times, especially during time-sensitive campaigns and launches. What do you dislike about Magnetic?

What do you like best about Magnetic?

I use Magnetic to manage and streamline my workflow, particularly for handling reviews, tracking feedback, and keeping all project-related communication in one place. It helps me stay organized and ensures nothing falls through the cracks. I love that it solves the challenge of fragmented workflows and unclear feedback by centralizing reviews, approvals, and communication in one place, making expectations much clearer and reducing back and forth across platforms. I like that it brings structure and clarity to the review process; everything from feedback to approvals is in one place, making it easy to track progress and stay aligned with the team. As a junior team member, it's especially helpful in understanding expectations and learning from feedback in a more organized and transparent way. The structure and clarity in Magnetic make a big difference in how I approach my work. Having all feedback comments and approvals clearly documented in one place helps me understand exactly what's expected and where I need to improve, removing ambiguity. What do you dislike about Magnetic?

Sometimes Magnetic's review and approval layers can feel a bit slow and overly structured especially when trying to move quickly or learn through iteration. What do you like best about Magnetic?

I like Magnetic because there are multiple different ways to view tasks, and you can modify it to look the way you want. It offers a 'calendar' view and allows me to focus on tasks assigned to me easily. The ability to filter on completed tasks, tasks due soon, or expired tasks is super handy. I can also check on tasks assigned to others, and it keeps track of all previous tasks, making it our source of truth for task information. What do you dislike about Magnetic?

Initially, it took some time and effort to get used to Magnetic's setup. Like I said, there are multiple ways to view your tasks and it took some getting used to the app and a lot of playing around with it to realize how everything works and how to make the most of it. Magnetic sends a lot of emails. Every time a task is updated, for example, I receive an email. Where it could be useful on the one hand, it happens too often and floods me with emails. I haven't researched whether there is a way to change it so I only receive valuable emails, but the intensity can definitely be lowered with the email sends. I really like that Magnetic captures all the information in a central place, which is super beneficial. It provides a way to keep track of things by offering backward referrals. What do you dislike about Magnetic?

I find that connecting and better integration could be improved, especially regarding editability. The web interface is great and does what it needs to do, but sometimes when I have a couple of tabs open and there's a job in progress, it drops a thing or loses something, requiring me to go back to it and do a lot of relinking. What do you like best about Magnetic?

I use Magnetic in my company to submit briefs to our studio and assign tasks for campaign execution. Magnetic streamlines our internal process and ensures we are able to track campaign tasks efficiently. I like that unique job numbers make it easier to follow up on specific jobs and tasks while checking their progress. Anyone in the team can now type the job number into Magnetic and find out about its progress. The whole department uses it for all processes now, not just the studio. We don't fully use the platform for reconciliations of projects and costs, which could benefit us. Time tracking integration into our Google systems could help as manually accepting or time tracking is challenging. What do you like best about Magnetic?

Like that there multiple ways to track time and work, you are not confined to one way of doing things. For me the best screen is the timesheet screen, I can have full view of my week and my task, as well as what I can tracked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Magnetic?

Two things. One on MacOS I never seem to get notification right way, they only sound when I reload the site. I never had this issue with Windows. Two the job overview page (I think thats what its called) can be confusing. Just too much information one page, somethings it hard to find the right comments. What do you like best about Magnetic?

It's great at managing tasks, particularly when it comes to handling recurring ones. Magnetic also offers strong reporting options and allows you to see client profitability at a glance. While we didn't make use of the finance features, the option to issue CEs and invoices directly from Magnetic is a valuable addition.

What do you dislike about Magnetic?

Getting the team to adopt this tool has proven to be difficult. Additionally, allowing team members to enter their own hours directly into the timesheet creates opportunities for misuse.
