Top Rated Magic Alternatives
Easy to integrate, good documentation, transparent pricing though better alternatives (like firebase) are available for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unreliable login for users, extremely slow processing of social login, challenging to rely on in a production environment. It cost significant labour to remove this integration from our product - it was a poor decision that we wouldn't make again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
9 out of 10 Total Reviews for Magic

I like that Magic is easy to integrate and use. It eliminates the hassle of remembering and managing passwords, and it makes the login process faster and smoother. I also like that Magic is secure and decentralized, as it uses blockchain technology to store users’ identities and keys. Magic also offers a generous free tier and affordable pricing plans. There is not much to dislike about Magic, but sometimes the magic link emails can take a while to arrive or end up in the spam folder. I wish there was a way to resend the magic link or use an alternative method, such as a QR code or a mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is great out-of-the-box with just the right amount of advanced features for us.
We needed a quick authentication/login solution for our B2B subscription service and Magic just made that happen without any problems. Integration was a breeze with our custom Webflow site and underlying CRM system.
We had NO technocal issues and with the new login log feature we can trouble shoot the users who mess up during login - incredibly strong argumentation to have when doing customer service!
100s of logins daily so frequency of use is no trouble. Customers support is super helpful and quick to respond.
Pricing is cheap compared to the competition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A bit to few visual customization features. We would love to change the layout and wording more to accomodate our users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Magic is convenient and accessible from any device. This makes it easier to manage your funds on the go. It supports multiple cryptocurrencies, allowing users to manage various assets in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall the experience is very good with magic but sometimes there are few bugs that may bothers the user for long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of use of its interface and the resources that are available, as well as the customer service, are very interesting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In general, the platform is very good, what bothers me are the bugs that occur. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI of magic links is very appealing and provides excellent customizability concerning login forms and branding. There are many social login providers to choose from, such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, GitHub, Apple, etc. There are options to set access control for users and domains, providing security to our applications. Getting started with magic was very easy due to the extensive docs and SDKs to get started and implement as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing is not very clear; users will need to contact support for each feature that has to be enabled. The UX could also improve with the ability to log with an OTP sent to email instead of using links each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find as a non-coder user, using low-code solutions within Magic has been actually low-code. I have used low-code in the past where it was advertised as low code, but ended up high code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While it is low-code, it is quite a complex system to integrate into existing workflows. I had to strongly rely on our IT team to be competent enough to be able to troubleshoot shortcomings of the integration of tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite aspect is the simplicity of setting it up. The SDK has come in handy for quickly getting new side-projects going without too much configuration. Another thing is the actual product itself. I feel like it's much more secure to be using emails compared to storing sensitive data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish more flexible pricing options were available on the front page. I'm currently on the Builder tier, although it'd be nice to understand the amount I'd be paying after surpassing that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SSO - I love an easy single sign on... it makes holding repeat visitors and customers just that bit easier. Plus the price point really suits my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's difficult to deploy without a technical person. Our in house IT guy struggled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
